Paramount+, the streaming service of Paramount Global, will launch two new subscription tiers in Germany, Switzerland and Austria, namely its basic (with ads) and premium plans. They will join the standard tier in the three countries.
Starting Wednesday, March 26, the premium plan will launch in the three markets, priced at 12.99 euro ($14.08) per month in Germany and Austria, and 17.90 Swiss francs ($20.31) monthly in Switzerland. Annual subscriptions will cost 115.99 euro ($125.73) and 161 Swiss francs ($182.73), respectively. The premium plan offers such video quality as 4K Uhd, HDR10, Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos on select titles, plus concurrent streams on up to four devices.
This summer, the basic (with ads) tier will debut in the three German-speaking markets, costing 5.99 euro ($6.49) per month in Germany and Austria, and 7.90 Swiss francs ($8.97) in Switzerland. The annual plan will cost 52.99 euro ($57.45) or 71 Swiss francs ($80.58).

Jochen Koestler will take up the position of executive vice president non-fiction at German media company Leonine Studios on Jan. 1, 2024.
Together with CEO Fred Kogel, he will head the group’s non-fiction production division, which includes production banners gebrueder beetz Filmproduktion, hyperbole Medien, i&u TV, Madame Zheng Production and Seo Entertainment.
From January 2025, he will assume sole overall responsibility for Leonine Studios’ non-fiction production business.
In addition, Koestler will join the management board of Cologne-based i&u TV, one of the leading production companies for information and entertainment programs, on Jan. 1, 2024, where he will be responsible for the entire entertainment division, including the genres show and comedy.

MTV announced Thursday that the hit reality TV format would premiere its second season on Thursday, September 21, at 9 p.m.
It will air out of a new episode of Jersey Shore: Family Vacation.
Narrated by Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi, the competition series features 12 reality stars from some of television’s most iconic series -- Jersey Shore, Geordie Shore, Germany Shore, Acapulco Shore, Rio Shore, F Boy Island, and Too Hot To Handle.
They come together for an epic vacation at the ultimate shore house on an island off of Cartagena, Colombia, to battle it out over a variety of epic party-style challenges for a chance to win $150,000 and global bragging rights.
