7/10

Danish King of Comedy has grown up.

With beautiful Portugal as a backdrop, Casper Christensen shows a new side of himself in this series, where the once "King Of Danish Comedy" shows sensitivity and a new depth, in interviews with prominent Danish celebrities. I am two episodes in, and I am definately sold. I am the same generation as CC, but were never realy a fan of his style at the time. So I didn't start watching this series, because I thought it would be more of that style. But to my supprize, he seems to have grown up and is now putting his talent for openmindedness into a more mature form. Unusual for men of our generation.

Heartfelt, honest and interesting. I realy like it.

This is why they say "never meet your idols"

Very boring series and I guess a documentary but also seems partially scripted. Caspar lives alone in an obnoxiously huge house. Yes it's nice but why not buy an old smaller but still large house with more class? I don't understand why one person needs a house this massive. He's an alcoholic and drinks the entire time and it's taking its toll on him as he looks old and tired. It's not funny either. That's probably because I don't know most of these Danish celebrities. Klovn was a hilarious masterpiece and they won't let us Americans see the latest movie. It's been out for a few years but you can't stream it with English subtitles. That's sucks we really wanna see it.

If you're looking for the hilarious Klovn type antics, look elsewhere. This is boring.
