Lovely, subtle, romantic and mysterious story about a young boy and girl who meet at a beach. The girls has been unable to sleep for a month. She is on a holiday with her friend. They notice a handsome boy who practices swimming at the beach. It's a slow burn and sweet, subtle romance. The boy is heartbroken over an ex girlfriend who left him after a trip to Japan. The two are drawn together but not meant to be. Was the boy just a figment of the girl's imagination or did the boy make it to the door of her dreams in the sea? Beautiful cinematography and cast. Lee Soo Hyuk is mesmerizingly beautiful.
I absolutely loved every minute of this Korean Movie. Lee Soo Hyuk never disappoints❤ Please support!

I have seen this film several times. Had it been made in France or Italy in the 60s, it would be thought of as a classic piece of cinema, as it is, no one has heard of it and Lee seems to be embarrassed by it. He said his friends laughed at him during the screening and said his lines.
I thought I was watching something filmed in the south of Italy (until the scene in the restaurant...what were they eating?), the light and the harbour were so similar. Lee's beauty is so extraordinary it takes your breath away.
The film is split into two halves, one filmed in Korea, the other in Japan. Minimal dialogue and a story so sad it made me almost cry (but maybe that's just me).
Beautiful cinematography, beautiful boy and girl, beautiful story, beyond question the best thing Lee has ever done. Tragedy he had to dissolve in a pool of ps, lack of confidence and really poor project choices over his career. Choose your friends wisely.
