Ever since the concept of Ghost Rider was introduced to the Marvel Cinematic Universe on Agents of Shield, there have been many rumors circulating about how and when the character might show up next and which incarnation of him it might be. Many fans online have notably selected Keanu Reeves as their main choice of fan casting. There is one actor, however, who has and continues to express the most interest in the role and is also the one who undoubtedly deserves it the most: Norman Reedus. Having played everyone's favorite crossbow-wielding zombie killer, Daryl Dixon, for more than 15 years on both The Walking Dead and his character's namesake spin-off series, Reedus is certainly no...

The critically acclaimed and award-winning artist Ricardo Delgado returns to the world of Dracula and Transylvania as he prepares to release The Art of Dracula of Transylvania into the world. The artist is perhaps best known for creating Age of Reptiles, a comic book series from Dark Horse Comics spanning 22 years that earned him an Eisner Award for Talent Deserving of Wider Recognition back in 1997. He's also had his fingerprints in Hollywood as he's worked in the animation and art departments for works like Men in Black, Avatar: The Last Airbender, Hulk and the Agents of S.M.A.S.H, and X-Men Origins: Wolverine.
Among his most recent works as an author and artist is Dracula of Transylvania, a now sold-out illustrated novel that puts a fresh twist on the classic Bram Stoker tale. Age of Reptiles writer Ricardo Delgado conceived this story as an 1899-era Transylvania tale where young solicitor Jonathan Harker...

She-Hulk has reportedly found its Titania in The Good Place star Jameela Jamil. Currently, production on the upcoming Disney+ series is underway with Tatiana Maslany in the lead role as Jennifer Walters, aka the crime-fighting lawyer She-Hulk. The cast of the series continues to grow with a new report that Jamil has just joined the cast as the villain Titania, who serves as a rival to She-Hulk in the original comic books from Marvel Comics.
Per The Illuminerdi, casting information for the character was previously revealed when details were leaked about five roles that She-Hulk was looking to cast. At the time, one of the roles was given the codename "Lucy," with the character described as an adversary for Maslany's Jennifer Walters. Now reported to be Titania, the "Lucy" character was described as a "glamorous social media influencer, Kardashian-esque with a dark side." She'll reportedly be in five to ten episodes.

Though this weekend’s D23 Expo didn’t yield as much news in the way of Marvel Studios’ theatrical plans as I thought it would, we at least learned much exciting new information when it came to the Disney Plus side of things. Chief among these announcements was the reveal of a TV show to be headlined by She-Hulk.
Right now, not much is known about the gestating project, but it’s quite exciting to ponder the possibilities. If you’re familiar with the source material, then you’re well aware of how Bruce Banner’s cousin, Jennifer Walters, is somewhat comparable to the Smart Hulk seen in Avengers: Endgame insofar that she’s always in green form and retains her intelligence. That said, the producers would be wise to look to Charles Soule’s acclaimed comic book run showcasing what she can do as an attorney.

Having the tough task of following up Avengers: Endgame, Spider-Man: Far From Home is becoming one of the most anticipated blockbusters of the summer. With that challenge, the film’s got to hide some cards up its sleeve in order to keep folks excited. But it’s not like Marvel’s ever had a problem in the fan-satisfaction department.
In fact, several people over on Reddit (and a few sources close to We Got This Covered) have now revealed one of those cards. And it’ll take the form of a cameo appearance during the mid-credits scene. Of course, spoilers will follow from here on in so if you want to walk into the film with a clean slate, turn back now. You’ve been warned.

Marvel has released sneak peek of their new Spider-Man animated series. It features a clip of Spidey in the heat of battle with Scorpion. The new series goes back to the origins of Spider-Man as a hero while Peter Parker discovers his powers and begins fighting crime in New York City.
It looks like something the kids will enjoy, but Marvel hasn't really impressed me with any of their animation projects since The Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes. Since then things have just been going downhill, especially the animation quality.
Maybe some of you will enjoy this first look more than I did. Check it out and tell us what you think! The series is set to debut on Disney Xd this summer.

Over the weekend, Marvel announced that they are developing a new Spider-Man animated series for Disney Xd. The series will simply be called Marvel's Spider-Man, and it's set to drop sometime in 2017. It will tell the story of "an unsure but courageous teen who has to figure out how to be a superhero from the very beginning."
The new series will replace the animated series Ultimate Spider-Man, which is set to conclude in January 2017 in a two-part finale titled "Graduation Day." That story arc will see "Spider-Man stop Doctor Octopus and the Superior Sinister Six from destroying all of the heroes in New York City."
The news of the new series came from Cort Lane, the senior vice president of Marvel Animation and Family Entertainment at Nycc, and this is what he said about it in a statement:

Something the first Guardians of the Galaxy movie never touched on was where Groot came from, or if there were more like him in the universe. We quickly find that out as Ronan the Accuser travels to Groot's home planet in his Dark Aster warship. Ronan's plan is to enslave this planet of humanoid-plant creatures. His dastardly goal is to mine their planet of it's precious resources.
It doesn't take long for Ronan to see he's up against a big army of badasses. Something he'd have known had he watched Guardians of the Galaxy.

Marvel has already taken its ambitious shared-universe model and expanded it from film to television (and entered the realm of streaming with Daredevil‘s Netflix debut this weekend). Now, however, they may begin experimenting with a new medium altogether: animation. According to Marvel’s Vice President of Animation Development and Production, Cort Lane, animated tie-ins to the larger McU may be on the horizon.
During Emerald City Comic-Con last weekend, Lane was asked by a fan about the possibility of seeing animated projects set in the McU. Lane’s response was a non-committal but promising statement saying that while he couldn’t announce anything, “things are in the works.”
What “things” Lane is alluding to are a complete mystery, but he did point toward Daredevil as a “proof-of-concept” for projects that tie into the larger world that Marvel has created. On one hand, it makes complete sense that the studio...

On Marvel's upcoming Guardians Of The Galaxy animated series, the man who'll say "I am Groot" so often he may actually begin to believe he's a giant sentient tree-alien is Kevin Michael Richardson, who is definitely no stranger to voicing animated incarnations of well known comic book characters. Richardson has played the likes of Bishop in Wolverine and the X-Men, Nick Fury in Super Hero Squad, and the Joker in 2004's The Batman. Interestingly enough, he also voiced Groot once before on Hulk And The Agents Of S.M.A.S.H. Apparently we'll find out who'll be playing Star Lord, Drax, Gamora and Rocket as the week goes on. Marvel will produce the series, with Alan Fine, Dan Buckley, Joe Quesada and Jeph Loeb on board as as executive producers. Jk Simmons has spoken about the likelihood of starring in a new Spider-Man movie.
The actor played editor-in-chief of the Daily Bugle J Jonah Jameson in 2002's Spider-Man and its 2004 and 2007 sequels.
When asked on The Howard Stern Show about the chance of him returning for a future Spider-Man film, he said: "I just heard that we… that's a possibility."
He also said he would "absolutely" return to the role for a new film.
Simmons, who recently starred in Whiplash, also voiced J Jonah Jameson in Hulk and the Agents of Smash, Ultimate Spider-Man and Avengers Assemble.
The Spider-Man film series has taken on a new creative direction since Simmons last played J Jonah Jameson, with the character only being referenced rather than seen in director Marc Webb's Amazing Spider-Man 2.
Saturday Night Live has imagined Jay Z's rise to fame as a biopic in a new sketch starring Simmons.

Has Paramount lost ground a little already with its Star Trek plans? And what are its movie, TV and videogame options?
This article contains spoilers for Star Trek Into Darkness.
Way back in 2009, Jj Abrams managed to reboot Star Trek successfully, attracting a bunch of fans who had never warmed to or tried Trek before, whilst managing to hold on to lots of the old ones. Abrams' film spun a yarn that kept the universe of Gene Roddenberry’s original series intact, even allowing for cameos from Leonard Nimoy’s Spock Prime (rumours abound that Shatner’s Kirk was meant to appear too).
Lots went right. The casting was strong, the film was good, and both critics and paying cinemagoers alike responded favourably (the film has an 83% aggregated rating on Metacritic and took $385 million at the global box office, certainly not to be sniffed at compared to previous Trek films). Why then,...

The CW has been busy over the last few weeks with populating its upcoming series The Flash with exciting DC Comics characters, but this new addition just may take the cake. The character himself isn’t all that interesting or well-known, but the actor that will play him is. According to THR, The Shawshank Redemption, Starship Troopers, and beloved voice actor Clancy Brown has joined the series in a “pivotal recurring role.”
Brown will play General Wade Eiling a.k.a. The General, the head of a black ops army team pursuing Plastique (Kelly Frye), in hopes of turning her into a human weapon. The General is described as “a tall and imposing man with a face carved from years of duty.” He’s also a fanatic intent on protecting American interests around the world, and will have “ties to a central Flash character.”

After Guardians of the Galaxy is introduced to theaters audiences in the upcoming big screen adventure planned for this August, Disney and Marvel are gearing up for an animated series based on the title. A photo was recently snapped (courtesy of Bleeding Cool), which gives us our first sneak peek at this impending comic book series. The tease was part of a Licensing Expo banner that also features current Marvel animated series Avengers Assemble and Ultimate Spider-Man. Take a look:
A Marvel animated series based on Guardians of the Galaxy has been rumored for a while now, with this being our first solid proof of its existence. The characters of Star-Lord, Gamora, Drax, Groot and Rocket have all appeared on previous episodes of both Avengers Assemble and Ultimate Spider-Man. As evidenced in this first piece of promo art, the characters look more like their movie counterparts than they do their previous television guest starring appearances.

During the recent Licensing Expo, attendees spotted what looks to be a poster featuring the current animated series for Marvel Studios. The poster includes the current Avengers Assemble and Ultimate Spider-man shows, as well as what could be our first look at the animated Guardians of The Galaxy series that has been rumoured to be in the works from Marvel Animation. A Guardians of The galaxy animated series has been heavily rumored lately from various sites, including our beloved Cbm. As seen on the poster above, the guardians look very reminiscent of their movie appearance, unlike the look they sported when they guest starred in the Avenegers Assemble and Ultimate Spider-man shows. Absent from the poster is the Hulk and the Agents of Smash series, which is currently airing its last episodes of the first season. Could the absence of the show mean that it will not be renewed for a second season?...

It’s Star Wars day 2014 (a.k.a. The Disney Xd animated series will also establish the new canon for the Star Wars universe, now that Disney owns Lucasfilm and intends to coordinate all future Star Wars “Expanded Universe” material spanning all platforms (movies, TV show, books, video games, etc.).
