Great Doc!

The Housing Bubble does a great job at explaining the role of interest rates and inflation on an economy. While it focuses on the housing bubble, it gives a great overview of the recent history of the boom-bust business cycle in the United States, all while keeping the viewer entertained with clever editing.

I was amazed with how much I had learned in just over an hour! A great watch for anyone, regardless of their economic literacy.

Trivia
When Jimmy Morrison first started traveling the continent to shoot these interviews, he slept on people's couches or in his Pontiac Sunfire at Walmart or Best Buy. The car can be seen in the film during a commercial showing interest rates.

He would wash his hair in gas station bathrooms and put on a suit just a few minutes before interviewing some of the most successful investors in the world.
