This Guy's in Love with U Mare!

Exasperating, irksome and unfunny

If you want to know the definition of irksome, watch this movie. The story of Lester (Vice Ganda) who is in a relationship with Mike (Luis Manzano), Luis breaks up with him to go after a girl, Gemma (Tony Gonzaga). In utter depression, Lester even attempts to kill himself by jumping over a bridge, here is where it turns irksome, with trying to be funny antics, that just doesn't work. Oh, wait... Before this scene, Luis Manzano plays the romantic card, and goes all sweet to Gonzaga, only it's not sweet, it's annoying. Lester then devices a plan to break up Mike and Gemma, his first move is to fake a holdup. Again, one of the more irritating scenes. But I guess the most exasperating of all, is this movie made money at the box office! This tells me that people would watch garbage and get a kick out of it. So if you like any of the actors here, Ganda who thinks he is funny; Manzano who feels he is macho or Gonzaga who acts like she's so pretty, then you will like this. A movie you'd love to hate is what this is.
