Let me predicate this with the meaning of my title. This film is unreal for the worst reasons. While this movie has a lot more "acting" and a failed attempt at creating a story-unlike the music video posing as a movie predecessor-it just falls flat in every shape and form. God, where do we even start.
There is a great moment in the beginning where we see some friendly doggos playing in the yard. I would have preferred 80 minutes of them playing rather than this movie. And we get a lot of weird moments like that, scenes where nothing is happening or even advancing the story. Granted, it's not as bad as the random strip club scene in the original, but goodness.
So how did this story even link to the original? I mean the other one was about puritanical zealots and demons, while this one was about some double cross in the old west. What the hell? I think the worst part is that so many people participated in this movie possibly not knowing the original existed. So they have grounds for a lawsuit?
Damn this movie is terrible. That's all I can say.
