BritBox’s upcoming “Tommy & Tuppence” series based on the works of Agatha Christie has found its series leads.

Variety has learned exclusively that Antonia Thomas, Josh Dylan, and Imelda Staunton have all been cast in the six-part series, which was originally announced back in June. The official logline states, “Tommy (Dylan) and Tuppence (Thomas) are a detective duo for the ages. They fall in love, fall out of it, and tumble back in, all while solving some thrilling, entertaining mysteries along the way.”

Tuppence is further described as “an actress and force of nature who won’t take no for an answer.” Tommy is said to be “a meticulous, charming crime writer who has lost his passion but finds it again when whirlwind Tuppence re-enters his life.” Staunton will star as Aunt Ada, “a wry, retired private detective who loves her nephew, Tommy, because he never undermines her – only a fool would do so.

With production scheduled to begin next month in South Africa, Resident Evil: The Final Chapter has brought in Ali Larter to portray Claire Redfield. This final installment of the Resident Evil franchise will be Ali Larter's third time portraying Claire Redfield, following 2007's Resident Evil: Extinction and 2010's Resident Evil: Afterlife. Milla Jovovich is coming back as Alice, but no other cast members have been officially confirmed at this point.

Production on this sequel has been delayed a few times, following the 2012 release of Resident Evil: Retribution. Filming was supposed to begin on Resident Evil: The Final Chapter in the fall of 2013, but that never came to pass. Last year, Milla Jovovich announced on her Facebook page that shooting was being pushed by one year, due to the actress' pregnancy. Production is still slated to take place in Cape Town, South Africa, which is where pre-production was taking place when the delay was announced.

Anchor Bay Entertainment (Abe), a leading distributor of independent feature films and home entertainment product, recently announced a new three-year agreement with Gravitas Ventures, a leading distributor of independent cinema.

The output deal gives Abe North American Blu-ray and DVD distribution rights to 36 titles, 12 per year, from Gravitas Ventures through 2017. Among the first releases included in the agreement are acclaimed films "Manny," a Manny Pacquiao documentary, "Always Woodstock," starring Ryan Guzman, Brittany Snow and Katey Sagal, and "Lovesick," starring Matt LeBlanc, Ali Larter and Chevy Chase.

Pascal Borno and Scott Karol’s Conquistador Entertainment has come on board to handle sales in Cannes on Lovesick starring Friends actor Matt LeBlanc, Ali Larter and Chevy Chase.

Luke Matheny directed the story about two people paralysed by fear of love who must learn to overcome their phobias. Dean Young wrote the screenplay.

Paradigm represents Us rights to the film. Producers Josh Goldstein, Travus Pope and Michael Roiff brokered the deal with Karol.

“We are extremely excited to be selling this film at this juncture, as Matt LeBlanc’s TV series Episodes is a worldwide hit and the film showcases his comedic talents,” said Karol.

Conquistador’s sales slate includes the Jennifer Aniston drama Cake that also stars Sam Worthington and Anna Kendrick. Borno and Karol are screening footage on the Croisette.

Exclusive: CBS: Miami alum Adam Rodriguez is back at CBS with a co-starring role in the network’s drama pilot Reckless, from CSI: Miami producer CBS TV Studios. The Charleston, Sc-set project centers on Jamie (Anna Wood), a gorgeous Yankee litigator, and Roy (Cam Gigandet), a Southern City Attorney, who struggle to hide their intense attraction while clashing over a police sex scandal. Rodriguez plays Preston, a well-respected police detective who works on the Charleston Pd alongside Trey (Shawn Hatosy). Rodriguez is the second top alum of the CSI franchise to book a CBS pilot this year along with Marg Helgenberger of the mothership CSI series, who co-stars in Intelligence. Rodriguez, repped by Global Artists and A Management, was recently in Magic Mike and will next be seen in Lovesick.

Who knew errands could be so thrilling? Ali Larter was spotted in Los Angeles, all smiles as she picked up a few extras.

The "Heroes" actress did her running around in a pair of super-short denim cutoffs, showing off her best asset.

Larter, who's been Mia from the little and big screens as of late, is set to make her comeback in a big way. She has several projects in production, including sci-fi thriller "Beyond Apollo" alongside Scott Speedman and rom-com "Lovesick" with Matt LeBlanc and Chevy Chase -- both set to hit theaters in 2013.

To quote Buffy the Vampire Slayer, "Love makes you do the wacky." That phrase may be a fitting one for the upcoming Luke Mathaney directed indie romcom Lovesick. The film has a growing cast of notable names, led by star Matt LeBlanc, who signed on this spring to play the part of Charlie Darby, a man who tends to go insane whenever he falls in love. And that's in the clinical sense. The issue is one Charlie must tackle when he meets his dream girl. Already set to join the Episodes star in Lovesick are Ali Larter, Chevy Chase and Kristin Johnson. If you ever find yourself in a position to have Matt LeBlanc recite his favorite lines or completely re-enact classic scenes from "Friends," I highly recommend you take advantage. I found it hard to believe that he could even rattle off lines from this season of "Episodes" (Season 2 premieres Sun., July 1, 10:30 p.m. Et on Showtime), let alone spout dialogue from almost a decade ago ... but that he did.

I caught up with LeBlanc, who plays Matt LeBlanc, a fictionalized version of himself in Showtime's series about the making of another series called "Pucks."
