The Hospital underwent drastic censorship both in the UK and Germany. In Germany, a whopping 28 minutes were cut out due to the strict rating rules regarding the depiction of violence. In the UK, the ratings board BBFC was also not fond of the huge amount of sexualized violence and demanded cuts that add up to an astounding 17:30 minutes.
