I knew Hello neighbour a long ago, when it was all over youtube and the youtubers playing it, but when the game started become more messy and complicated i consider it its downfall, (and it was), so when the series was announced, i wasn't as much interested (like, how are they going to make a series out of THAT game?) but decided to watch it, and holy! It turned out to be really cool, creppy (in a good way of course) and think it gives Mr peterson so much dimension as a character, his voice, his presence oooh lord!! The contrast between the borderline cute artstyle and the dark, obscure themes... it is fascinating! And a thing i haven't really seen a show do as good before. Very excited for the third season.
This show is horrible. Absolutely matching the level of the modern brainrot, makes kids get addicted to cults and bloody themes which are completely unnecessary. There was never a single explicit scene in the games. Themes and characters stolen from other cartoons / movies, like Gravity falls, Monster house or Stranger things. It has nothing to do with the real Hello Neighbor and it's characters. And I'm afraid it will indeed ruin the complex and mature story the original games built up throughout the years.
And don't even get me started on the awful style and the animation that looks like a 1st year animation student's beginner sketch.

After a 2 year wait, we finally got the Animated series. Episode 1 was pretty good but Episode 2 was kind of a let down, after Episode 2 it kind of lowered my hopes a bit, but I was still excited for what was coming. Fast forward 9 months later, (finally) we got the third episode. Then next week is was 4, then 5, and now episode 6 is coming in less than 3 days. The episodes we have gotten this October (3-5) is such a major step up. The writing is better, the characters a way better, everything, its just so good. I can't wait for Episode 6, and for season 2&3 which I hope to see done by 2024!!!
If your a parent that's a horror fan then this along with goosebumps it's a great way to get your kids into horror.while it's not something that should be on shudder or any tv channel or streaming service that's horror related it's still not something you'd see on Nickelodeon or Cartoon Network. Like I would say an appropriate age to watch this is maybe like 10 I would say 12 but that's Really the age when kids start getting into horror I know I got into horror at that age. Then I really only have one criticism with this show but it's nothing major it's just at times the animation can be off but again it's not major so I'll take no starts on the review.
As a Hello Neighbor fan since the first game's release, I'd say it's pretty good, 5 Episodes in, the voice actors does a great job. Character animations are decent enough, and background arts are amazing. And Soundtrack is also really good.
Also I need to say that Armen Taylor, the voice of Theodore Peterson especially does an amazing job as the character, his lines also goes hard, so props to the writing team for it Story is also interesting, I'm looking forward to see how it will connect to Hello Neighbor 2, with some characters from the game also appearing in the show Really looking forward to see the future episodes.
