The first thing to know about this series is that it isn't focused on wars and battles between these 6 inch tall transformers type girl mini-battle robots. Rather this is a fun and funny series that focuses on the adventures and misadventures of 4 likable and somewhat silly 'Shinki' in their ordinary lives. Their "Master" or owner is a friendly college student who doesn't want them to battle as they were intended to do, much to the chagrin of the new Shinki named Hina. There are sexual innuendos aplenty but in reality it's more of a PG rated show instead of the Mature Audience rating it gets on Hulu. If you're in the mood for some good natured and lighthearted viewing, then check out Busou Shinki.
