While looking for a flight at the airport in the Season 1 finale, Sara (Mary Page Keller) says to George (Steven Weber), "I've never even heard of Sandpiper Air." Sandpiper Air was the airline owned and operated by Weber's character Brian on the show Wings (1997). Wings (1997) also starred Rebecca Schull who plays April's grandma, Emma, on Chasing Life (2014).
Aisha Dee who plays Beth (April's best friend) is supposed to be the same age as April. But actually, Aisha is younger than Italia Ricci (April) and April's little sister Brenna (Haley Ramm).
Italia Ricci and Scott Michael Foster first appeared together in an episode of Greek (2007). The episode was 'Social Studies' in season 2 (2009). Ricci played a girl that Foster's character was seeing, along with another girl in their study group.
The show has officially been cancelled by ABC Family on October, 2, 2015 after two seasons.
