I really enjoyed Ultraman Decker, (it's possibly in my top 5 Ultra series, and probably in my top 3 for New Gen Ultra), so I was very excited for this movie!

This movie was extremely fun, it's not perfect but it was full of interesting ideas, great moments, and really fun directing.

My only real issue with this movie is the use of the "this person we met 5 minutes ago is our new best friend" trope, it's not a big issue bc the character is likeable but it definitely feels a bit rushed in parts as a result.

I do have one other small issue, but it's a spoiler so I won't share it here.

If you enjoyed Ultraman Decker you'll definitely enjoy this movie. If you didn't enjoy Decker... I don't know why you'd watch this then but you probably wouldn't like it I guess lol

This movie definitely isn't going to be enjoyable for people who have never seen the show, it relies quite heavily on you having seen the show. This is expected of course but if you're looking for an entry point into the Ultraman series this movie isn't it

Overall I really really liked this movie, it's not perfect but it's probably my favourite of the New Gen Ultraman Films.

You can watch this movie subbed officially on Ultraman Connection for a rental fee, and I'd recommend anyone interested to do so!

I think this film is good because it has an interesting story and good character development and explains the origin of Decker which makes it feel like a paradox from the series. With visuals that spoil the eye but indeed the battle scenes are not as epic as the priquel but can be covered with story development that is better than the priquel Ultraman Trigger.

I hope that in the future decker will meet Ultraman Dyna again in Ultra Galaxy Fight or in a series or movie. If that does happen then it will be the most epic thing i've watched on ultra series.

I also hope that the original TDG trio can appear in the future and it will definitely be very epic and very nostalgic.
