So brave of Gloria Trevi to tell her side knowing she will be cast a villain again. I found the story very moving and enlightening. Seeing the setting/ background/ inspiration for her songs adds new and powerful meaning to her lyrics. You can feel the pain and suffering in her music. You can also see her shame and guilt she feels for having played a role in the suffering of the other girls. I cried and screamed at the screen while watching this. After completing this series I have a new found love for Trevi's music. I was left in awe of what these women survived this terrible ordeal. She was a child (16) when her pedophile / child sex cult manager dragged her into this world. This series chronicles his abuse; physical, psychological, and emotional. He used the same tactics of manipulation, shaming, and abuse that many pimps used to extort and control young vulnerable girls. She was 16 years old!! She as much a victim as any of the others, the main difference being how long she stayed under his abuse and control. What an incredible journey of an impressive and resilient women. She deserves to clear her name and be set free of this horrible past. We now know as a society that these girls are victims too (and beaten and brainwashed by their captor) and should not be held accountable for things they were forced to be part of as fellow victims of Sergio Andrade.
The most powerful emotion song Ive ever heard is Gloria Trevi's: El recuento de los danos
Watch this series.. you wont regret it!

First of all, I don't hate Gloria Trevi, I remember her since a child growing up and listening to one of her songs from Teresa even though I don't listen much of her songs anymore, but still respect her as a Talented Artist.
However, when it comes to the series, the setting, the cast, and the story is so bad because everything looks so modern that doesn't adapt into the past. It doesn't look so antique like the hotels are just black-and-white walls shown in the series. The hairstyles are like today's looks that I seen multiple colors that these trends have as well as blondes and platinum. The buildings aren't as old As they should. The actress who is playing the main character is terrible lip singing that can't even follow Gloria's
My overall conclusion is the series is so bad that I don't feel any connection to the past that makes the series so cheap and very tacky for television network to not to make the past "The past". So they can just maybe try to improve surrealism rather than modern realism in my point of view.

Twenty five years ago Gloria Trevi, Sergio Andrade and Mary Boquitas were arrested on charges of corrupting minors. It's not a secret the only reason they got away of that was because Sergio Andrade's brother was a congressman.
Now we have this bio-serie from Gloria Trevi's point of view. She seems to remember every single detail of the violence she suffered, however, she has been having problems remembering the violence she put other victims through. How convenient!
Let me clarify something, I wouldn't have a problem beleiving that she was actually just another victim, however, her side of the story doesn't match the statements of other the other victims, on the contrary, they pointed her as a strong piece of the gang.
Just in this year Gloria Trevi is facing new lawsuits, however we don't see that in any episode, we don't see either any input of the other victims, just hers, why? Because that doesn't match with her agenda!

Absolutely beautifully told. Thank you for sharing. While watching the series, I cried, I was frightened, I was angry. And I cried & clapped of joy when good things happened. My emotions were with them and my heart and arms poured out to them. The situation wasn't easy for any of them. They lived with a pedophile, a dangerous manipulator who caused bodily and mental abuse. Using blame and creating enemies within themselves. Liliana, the rebel, as she called herself, is my favorite person. They were all victims of him, yet they were all guilty towards each other. May they fully heal from the burden they may still carry. Not to forget, and not to repeat it. I too am, Ellas.
