Funny science fiction in Russia?!

1. The miracle videos shot on YouTube turned out to be a whole series on KP.

It's amazing how it's unknown who filmed this.

Talented people. No other way!

2. From 2 times it turned out to watch all 10 episodes and a special episode in one gulp.

The comedy fantasy series turned out to be funny and even the graphics did not disappoint. It looks surprisingly great.

I started watching because of Burunov, who is voicing the work here. Sergey Chikhachev was also surprised. His name won't tell you anything, but as soon as you hear his speech, you'll understand what's what!

3. A few words about the special episode: References to Interstellar are my compliments. It was very funny.

It's a shame that Burunov wasn't there.

And it's not clear why they don't extend it for season 2. There is potential and the ratings are good. Unclear...

Masterpiece of SF cyber punk comedy

Unbelievable. I though the true science fiction is already disappeared in the past. But this is the revival. Revival of topics and ideas discussed by the Maestros of science fiction - Stanislaw Lem, Clifford Donald Simak, Ray Bradbury, Arkady and Boris Strugacki, etc. Everything is dressed with comedy clothes, but good old problems of SF is considered in such a L. O. L. Manner!

Also I recognized curtseys to the legendary movie directors of the past, who managed to work in Soviet Union and criticize it in their way - for example, Arkadyi Gaiday, Andrey Tarkovsky.

But also plenty of hints of the western science fiction movies - like "Darling I Shrunk the Kids", "Don't Look Up", "Blade Runner", "Mad Max", etc.

Also scenes are shot in a fabulous way of "What We Do In The Shadows".

Also the visuality of the movie is shocking amazing!

These are the very raw reflections after I watched just the first three episodes.

10/10.

Cyberpunk we deserved

I was impressed by the interior and exterior designs of the series. Especially the synthesis of space cyberpunk and Soviet, or perhaps it's already appropriate to say Russian, reality with its characters, places, and landscapes.

It feels like the series could be broken down into quotes. The dialogues and monologues are generally melodious, with puns.

Also pleasing are the distinctive features of a specifically Russian series and Russian cinema with advertising, actresses' makeup, and so on.

There is also a sense of an auteur approach when the characters exchange lines either with the viewer or with the cameraman.

In general, I want as many people as possible to see this film!

Awesome satire if you know the context

I've been following the Birchpunk project for several years and found their production amazingly good. They started as an independent low-budget project without any funding whatsoever and have made several videos which they uploaded on Youtube for free, and immediately received the highest ratings. Top quality video, witty and funny script, good acting - just what a good movie should be about.

Then the war in Ukraine happened and they fell silent for a couple of years. There were rumours that they have signed a contract with Kinopoisk (Russian movie portal) for production of a full series. I initially had big doubts of the outcome, but when I saw the result, I was almost applauding. They have managed to create a subtle, intelligent and funny satire to the current events, so subtle that you really need to know the context to get it. But the ones who know it are rewarded twice.
