Counterattack is a Mexican action film that clearly draws inspiration from the light, fast-paced style often seen in American cinema. Its plot is basic and predictable, built around familiar action tropes, making it an easy and unpretentious watch. While it doesn't aim for narrative complexity or deep character development, the film succeeds in keeping a brisk pace that holds the viewer's attention from start to finish. What makes Counterattack notable is not its originality, but its effort to contribute to a genre traditionally dominated by Hollywood. In that sense, it represents a step forward for Latin American action films, showing that the region can produce entertaining and technically competent works within this format. It may not leave a lasting impression, but it delivers exactly what it promises: a solid and enjoyable action movie to pass the time.
From a citizen Point of view, This Movie, Perfectly, portraits de Reality of My Country, it is by far one of the best pieces of cinema in the latest years, it's realizing I'm natural, acting capabilities, Without, perfectionist actors, it's like you're seeing real people in real life situations. Keep up the work, Netflix. Some scenes are a little bit over, acted, but it's noticeable just to keep up With the plot, also the ending Lives, you wanting more, and hopefully they will be Another. Hay particular de aquí, actor portrait, Real Life, Mexican People and the ambience is in real scenes from the Mountain Country.
I really enjoyed this movie. I'm not Spanish speaking hell I'm from Sweden but I truly enjoyed this movie. Didn't matter it wasn't in English. I think the acting was on point, photography was great same with effects. I felt it could have gone any way in the end but without giving spoilers it really held me on edge.
There were some minor things I object to or dislike but it's so small it what drags it down to 8/10.
And 8/10 is because I truly enjoyed it. For me a movie is good and I enjoy the whole movie then it's a 10. That's how ratings should work. If there's something I feel could have been better then I degrade it.
But rest assured. It's very watchable. Great action.

It has been a long time since most average movies last at least 100 minutes, but this one delivers everything expected in just about 80 minutes. The movie really deserved more time, but don't get me wrong - it is complete. The scenario is engaging, the characters are likeable and realistic, and the action is on spot. The music and sceneries are excellent, enhancing the overall atmosphere. The actions scenes varies and progresses during the movie, but are each time good and adequately intense. While it feels a bit short, you just want more time with it. Despite that, it's definitely worth watching.
I haven't seen many mexican movies like this, any period. Great talented actors, nobodys going to win a nobel prize for litiature but dialogue was beleivable and engaging. Sometimes it can be hard to watch some films like this but storyline was good nothing cheesy about it. I wish i knew of a true story like this in mexico actually occured and brought to film but the cartel really is too dangerous to provoke. Language, slang and termonology was authentic and beleivable. Alot of action, good action nothing too out there. Am proud of productiona nd whoever was behind it all, overall good quality. Hope theres another!!! Hechele ganas!!
