FBI star Zeeko Zaki has addressed the likelihood the show will bring back his character Omar Adom "Oa" Zidan's sister Amira. Cynthia Hamidi originally played Amira in Season 1 of the CBS procedural.
Viewers learned early in FBI's run that, since the Zidan children lost their father at a young age, they developed a dysfunctional relationship. Oa admitted he and Amira had a strained relationship as adults because he'd acted more like a father than a brother to her while growing up.
FBI Star Addresses Possible Return of Oa's Sister Amira
Speaking to TVLine, Zaki revealed that, while there are no plans yet for Amira to return, there is a reference to the character "in the episode we’re filming now." The actor wouldn't give away the context of the reference, but he insisted "everything is good" with Amira.

As Outlander's seventh season nears its finale on January 25, 2025, it will be interesting to see how the Frasers survive the American Revolution. What's less interesting is the ridiculous obsession that Roger MacKenzie (Richard Rankin) has with time travel and the annoying conversations he continues to pester the others about, especially in Season 7, Episode 9, "Unfinished Business."
While it makes sense that Roger would be concerned about his son Jemmy (Matthew Adair), the silly existential queries become too much to bear. Not only does Roger anger his friends and allies, but his illogical infatuation with all things time travel is most obnoxious for fans who've dealt with the show's paradoxical time shifts for years and somehow understand its machinations better than he does. Then again, not much about the Outlander makes much temporal sense anyway.

At long, long last, “Outlander” is back for the rest of Season 7. More than a year since the first part of the series’ seventh season aired, “Outlander” returns to Starz for eight new episodes of its penultimate season. From Scotland to Philadelphia, the new season finds the Frasers sprawling time and space (as usual), as Claire and Jamie’s epic saga continues — including an episode written by the author of the novels, Diana Gabaldon, who returns to pen an episode for the first time since Season 5’s “Journeycake.”
With Season 7 back on screens, “Outlander” viewers can expect weekly new episodes for the coming weeks, with one exception — there will be no new episode on Jan. 10, leaving a gap between the penultimate episode of the season on Jan. 3 and the finale, “A Hundred Thousand Angels,” which airs on Jan. 17.

[Warning: The below contains Major spoilers for Outlander, Season 7, Episode 9, “Unfinished Business.”] Outlander‘s return has brought with it plenty of exciting time-traveling twists as Roger (Richard Rankin) and Buck (Diarmaid Murtagh) found themselves displaced in time to a period at Lallybroch where Brian Fraser (Andrew Whipp) is still Laird, overseeing his family, including a younger Jenny (Kristin Atherton). As viewers will recall, they traveled through the standing stones at Craigh Na Dun to find Roger’s son Jemmy (Blake Johnston-Miller), who was kidnapped by Rob Cameron (Chris Fulton). Only, their efforts landed them further back in time than Roger believed possible. “I think it’s just shock after shock after shock, and I think all of these things helped to develop a very sort of interesting and refreshing plot line for Buck and Roger,” Rankin tells TV Insider. Starz “The stuff with Brian and Jenny is good because I think the fans are going to really...

Outlander Season 7, Episode 10, titled "Brotherly Love," airs on Friday, November 29 and will feature the return of even more characters, including David Berry's portrayal of Lord John Grey. The episode's synopsis reads, "Claire and Ian arrive in Philadelphia to help the ailing Henry Grey; Roger and Buck receive an unexpected clue in their search for Jemmy." The popular time-traveling drama Outlander began the second half of its seventh season with a powerful episode that reunited viewers with the beloved Fraser family and established major storylines for the show’s upcoming conclusion.
The midseason premiere, “Unfinished Business,” returns Jamie and Claire Fraser to their ancestral Scottish home of Lallybroch, where they experience beautiful reunions and difficult emotional situations. A significant plotline shows that Jamie’s brother-in-law, Ian Murray, is gravely ill with consumption, causing conflict between Claire and Jamie’s sister Jenny.
Sam Heughan, who plays Jamie Fraser, spoke with RadioTimes.com about his character’s difficult emotional journey. “He is an honorable individual. “He feels a sense of duty,” Heughan explained, referring to Jamie’s desire to reunite with his previous wife Laoghaire.
The episode delves into several plot lines, including a heated encounter between Jamie and Laoghaire, eventually settling their financial issues. Another intriguing subplot...

Warning: Spoilers for Outlander season 7, episode 9 "Unfinished Business"!Outlander returned to Starz tonight with season 7, episode 9, which celebrated Claire (Caitrona Balfe) and Jamie Fraser (Sam Heughan) arriving in Scotland while also imparting some sad news for their family. The appropriately titled "Unfinished Business" did some much-needed table setting prior to the show's conclusion in season 8, allowing the Frasers to reconnect with Jamie's sister Jenny and her husband Ian Murray. While Ian is still played by Steven Cree, the role of Jenny is now played by Kristin Atherton.
Outlander season 7, part 2 also gave Young Ian (John Bell) the chance to reunite with his parents after seasons away, but his homecoming was particularly bittersweet. The episode revealed that his father is suffering from consumption and in the last stages of the illness, and Claire unfortunately confirmed that no medical miracle could save him time travel or not.

Did Outlander Season 7 Episode 9 scratch that Droughtlander itch we get in between seasons?
Not so much, and there’s a reason for that.
Although it’s been over a year since Outlander Season 7 Episode 8 aired, this isn’t the beginning of a new season but a continuation of one in progress. The result of this timing is underwhelming at best and disappointing at worst.

Outlander isn’t alone in this phenomenon.
Yellowstone Season 5 Episode 9 faced similar challenges. However, after two years of speculation, fans were highly anticipating Kevin Costner’s potential departure.
For Outlander, the setup is familiar: Jemmy went missing, and Jamie and Claire returned to Lallybroch. Kidnappings and journeys are simply the norm on this series.

The story is constantly fresh and exciting, there's so much character development, and of course at the heart of it all is Jamie and Claire's love story. We love romance, and there's almost no better ship than these two. Truly.
If you're also a fan of history, then this show is for you. There's many battles and wars, and even some characters are based on real-life figures. There's some politics involved, as well as...

There's a little over a month and half until Outlander season 7 part 2 premieres on Starz, and I absolutely can't wait! I'm eagerly counting down the days, and looking forward to where the story goes next. The historical drama is always so great at giving us the unexpected and leaving us with intriguing cliffhangers. And that's what happened at the end of season 7 part 1.
Jamie, Claire, and Young Ian have finally made it back to Scotland after being away for years and years. It's going to be so good to see the Highlands once again! I'm emotional just thinking about it. The MacKenzies are in a very tough spot with Jemmy kidnapped by Rob Cameron and Bree and Roger now separated as he decides to go through the Stones after his son with Buck MacKenzie in tow.

Lefty Ruggiero's real life differed from his portrayal in Donnie Brasco, showcasing only part of his criminal career. Lefty formed a close bond with undercover agent Donnie Brasco, with detailed interactions not fully shown in the movie. The impact of the Donnie Brasco movie on the Mafia, especially the Bonanno family, led to significant repercussions and trials.
Benjamin 'Lefty' Ruggiero is a key character in Donnie Brasco, but what happens to him at the end of the story differs from real life. Whenever books are translated for the screen, a few changes are bound to be made between mediums. Craig Johnson's Western mystery novel The Cold Dish inspired the A&e-turned-Netflix series Longmire, with many artistic liberties taken when the character was brought to the screen. But at the end of the show's first season, the plot of the first Johnson-penned novel was revisited directly in the episode "Unfinished Business," which pits Sheriff Walt Longmire (Robert Taylor) in the middle of a series of revenge killings involving four white boys who raped a Cheyenne girl. But while the book had a distinct and shocking ending, the television adaptation shook things up.

There comes a moment in many sports documentaries when viewers find themselves wondering whether they’ve drunk the Gatorade. All the fast cuts and swelling music, the bodily injuries and emotional agony, the triumphant moments and podium tears have a way of pushing our buttons.
In director Sarah Dowland’s “Sue Bird: In the Clutch,” that objectivity-questioning pause comes when the WNBA legend’s agent appears for an on-camera interview (she happens to be one of its executive producers as well). No arguing that agent Lindsay Kagawa Colas knows a great deal about Bird and even more about the changes in marketing strategies that women athletes have faced over the years. She also knows that optics matter, and it’s hard not to be a little frustrated that such an obviously biased cheerleader should appear as a source. (Another red flag: NBA Entertainment had a role in producing the doc.

We have some very sad news to close out 2023, folks. Tom Wilkinson, one of the finest and most beloved character actors of this (or any other) generation, has died suddenly at 75. Deadline was the first to report the news. The twice Oscar-nominated co-star of Michael Clayton, Batman Begins, In the Bedroom, and many more films last appeared in Disney Plus’s sequel series to his breakout role in The Full Monty.
Between 1998 and 2018, Wilkinson was one of his generation’s most prolific character actors, with his output putting him up there with Brian Cox and Brendan Gleeson. He made over 65 movies and TV series in that twenty-year period, starring in everything from high-profile arthouse fare like Todd Field’s In the Bedroom to his role as Carmine Falcone in Batman Begins. He often played villains, such as in The Lone Ranger, but had the range to take on pretty much any part.

It’s a lean month for new original content on HBO/Max. November will see the return of two scripted series in Julia and Rap Sh!t, both of which are debuting their respective second seasons, but this month’s fresh highlight is likely to be Bookie, a new comedy series from the partnership of The Big Bang Theory creator Chuck Lorre, and Nick Bakay. The show tracks an LA bookie called Danny (Sebastian Maniscalco), whose business is in peril as California movies to legalize sports gambling.
Elsewhere in November, there quite a few interesting documentaries to keep an eye on, and two that jump out as “must watch”. The first is Albert Brooks: Defending My Life, which chronicles the aging comedian’s life and career. The second is the previously-released Little Richard: I Am Everything, which tries to peel back the whitewashed canon of Richard Penniman in a true...
