Singapore Saloon is a wannabe emotional film that has no idea on how real life functions and all it wants is to seek attention from its audience with its pathetic screenplay that lacks logic, characterization, scene continuity, and, whatever that it that makes a good film.
If you are looking to get inspired from this movie, I'm telling you, watching paint dry, is much more entertaining than this. I had to watch the whole film in 1.5x speed as it is too slow and things don't make sense; Everything happens to the main character and he basically does nothing to become a millionaire.
When I heard about this film, I thought it would be revolutionary since in India, cutting someone's hair is associated with certain caste only. R. J Balaji's good for nothing film skips all the actual issues that a person would face to become an entreprenur and the entire narrative of this film is constructed on weird consequences that is way too improbable to happen to a single person.

As a film enthusiast, I recently had the displeasure of watching "Singapore Saloon," and I must say, it was a cinematic disappointment from start to finish. The movie failed to deliver on multiple fronts, leaving viewers with an unsatisfying and forgettable experience.
One of the most glaring issues with "Singapore Saloon" is its lack of a compelling storyline. The plot meanders aimlessly, lacking coherent direction or meaningful character development. Viewers are left wondering what the film is trying to achieve, as it fails to engage or captivate with its narrative.
The performances in "Singapore Saloon" are equally underwhelming. The cast members deliver flat and unconvincing portrayals, failing to evoke any emotional connection or investment from the audience. Character motivations are unclear, and interactions feel forced and unnatural, further detracting from the overall viewing experience.
Moreover, the technical aspects of the film leave much to be desired. The cinematography is uninspired, with dull visuals that do little to enhance the storytelling. Sound design and editing are also lackluster, contributing to a disjointed and unpolished final product.
The pacing of "Singapore Saloon" is another major flaw. The movie drags on unnecessarily, with scenes that overstay their welcome and add little value to the overall narrative. Viewers are left bored and disengaged, struggling to find reasons to stay invested in the story unfolding on screen.
Additionally, "Singapore Saloon" suffers from a lack of originality and creativity. The film relies heavily on tired clichés and predictable plot twists, offering nothing new or innovative to the genre. It feels like a rehash of familiar tropes without adding any fresh perspective or insight.
In conclusion, "Singapore Saloon" is a lackluster and uninspired cinematic effort that fails to leave a lasting impression. With its weak storyline, unconvincing performances, technical shortcomings, pacing issues, and lack of originality, the film falls flat and struggles to justify its place in the world of cinema. I would advise potential viewers to steer clear of this disappointing movie and explore more engaging and worthwhile cinematic offerings.

A nice feel good movie worth for watching every single minute is worth. A special concept and feel good story climax makes emotional and it's good guys. Lal makes a special character and rural people and parrot makes a special emotional connection to the movie so watching is worth and every minute makes a good feel and some scene personally connect to my life so it makes comfortable for me and think about past. And if your are a bird lover you can connect easily in climax scene and sathyaraj also makes a good character and it's funny + good story and camera angle and graphics also good in parrot.
This movie will interest you only if you have chased your passion. If you are an average Joe this will not happen. Gokul shows a lot of courage and expertise in sculpting his characters. The protagonist RJ Balaji shows phenomenal increase in his capacity as a daring dreamer who is courageous enough to follow his passion. The first half is good but the second half is philosophical ( but not preachy).
Overall one of the best films of the year. If you are an average Joe forget seeing the second half. After many years after being moved to tears by the film Aruvi this is the next film which did it.

This movie wasn't bad but wasn't good either.. most part wouldn't make sense but if you don't think about logic it's decent.. comedy 4/10, not very funny but was ok. Some parts were emotional but before you even fully get a grasp on the situation story plot goes to something else.. i did think the movie was aight but wouldn't wanna watch it again. Watchable if you have alot of time on your hands and don't know what to do.. don't look for logic, barely anything made sense.. don't get too much into it cause the story goes everywhere and you will forget what happened before this happened.. literally i can think of 5 different plots in this 1 movie if not more.. don't really have anything to really criticise as i didn't have any expectations before watching this, but just a thought that Rj Balaji could take way better story for his movies, really loved most of his previous movies.. this movie seemed like producer and director said "ive got way to much money don't know what to do let me put in this movie and we make a story that dont make any sense" so yeah looked too expensive.. movie was aight, some unnecessary characters, could be better. But it is what it is...movie if you feel like a silly couch potato who have nothing to do :))
tldr : only watch if you have sooo much time to killl and if you can ignore logics.
