Gharat Ganpati is that sweet movie which makes up for all that lost time! It might take time to build up, but it will stay with you even after its over. A slice of life, that certainly serves much more than a slice!

And the female lead (delhi ki chokri) could understand the language of the Gharat family, so will you. Even if you don't understand Marathi, do watch it and thank me later! (A lot of it is in Hindi)

All religious things as well as Konkani culture is exactly mirror in the movie. The way of transfering the minor things which matters most is amazing. It feels like real story of a Konkani family. Lot of twist and mind blowing ideas makes this movie unforgettable.

Also all actors are properly suits their characters especially Kriti. Proper dialogue delivery and expression made it realistic.

It's an amazing movie, great story great direction. Cinematography was fabulous. All the actors gave their best to the movie. Such movies need to be promoted more. Everyone should watch this with your family and loved ones. No single scene in the movies that makes you feel bored. All the kokani people will relate to the story. I didn't even watched the trailer just went to watch it directly surprisingly it was a great decision will watch it again. I don't usually go out to watch movies. This was an exception and it didn't disappoint. Loved the acting by the entire family. It felt like something fresh after a long time. Hats off to the director for engaging me from the get go. There was not a single dull moment. And the production quality was gold standard. Never seen anything like this in Marathi cinema . The visuals were beautiful. The music was so soulful with beautiful lyrics. My personal favourite character from the film is kusum with her witty lines and impeccable dialogue delivery. Will be watching it again tomorrow with my family. It was good time at the movies . Highly recommend.

This is a simple story weaved around three generations of Gharat Family gathered for Ganapati festival in Konkan & their relations . The story telling is so engaging with all the aspects stated above made it a beautiful movie. It's a first movie of Navjyot Bandiwadekar as a director, however the ease is absolutely impressive. Music is also beautiful & has already become popular. The beauty of Konkan is also shown frame by frame beautifully by Cinematographer. Wish to see many more such Marathi movies like this.

What a beautifully made film. Pure rollercoaster of all sorts of emotions and certainly leaving the movie theater fulfilled with absolute joy. Went to watch first day to see Nikita Dutta, she was spectacular on terms of her wholesome presence itself and acting as well. Ajinkya deo, Bhushan, the man who played bhau kaka and entire cast was brilliant. The spectale of Konkan's natural beauty and the purity and importance of traditions is shown extremely well and I was in awe of the direction by Navjyot. I'm definitely watching it again with family. Spoilers ahead - The mahabharata scene and pattyancha bangla scene were brilliantly thought of. As a Maharashtrian, could definitely relate to the authenticity of the family-centered scenes. Had to write a review after so long because the film is absolutely splendid and felt like a breath of fresh air just like the beaches of Konkan and this is not a biased or promotional review at all.
