Show of hands if you remember watching the prank horror show Scare Tactics when it premiered on Syfy in the year 2003. It was pretty popular, so I’m going to guess a lot of hands are up. After all, the hidden camera ran for 10 years, ending in October 2013. And now, just over a decade later, it’s back!
Just in time for spooky season, USA Network is bringing Scare Tactics back and with Jordan Peele as the host. The horror series paired with the hilarious Peele is the perfect balance! This should be good. So when does it premiere? We have all of the details so you don’t miss out.
The new season will follow the same format as the original. It is still a hidden camera prank show, but these are upgraded pranks. Unsuspecting victims will be put into scary situations, think of Scare Tactics as What Would You Do?...

That box set is now making its way to North America, with a release date of October 22nd in the US and Canada! For information on what’s contained in the set, check out the write-up on last year’s UK release below. It appears that everything from the UK set will be included in the North American set.
The original article follows:
A couple years ago, screenwriter Peter Atkins – who worked on the scripts for the first three Hellraiser sequels – published his original screenplay for the famously troubled fourth film, Hellraiser: Bloodline (the script is available for purchase at This Link), saying, “Whilst you’ll never get to see a Director’s Cut of Hellraiser: Bloodline, you can read in this book what was supposed to be…” But...

Clive Barker's 1987 film "Hellraiser" has always existed a little off to the side of the usual rogue's gallery of 1980s horror slashers. Its central demon, originally credited as Lead Cenobite (Doug Bradley), is usually mentioned alongside other notorious cinematic serial killers like Michael Myers from the "Halloween" movies, Jason Voorhees from the "Friday the 13th" movies, and Freddy Krueger from the "Nightmare on Elm Street" movies ... but he is not quite the same. The Lead Cenobite, better known as Pinhead, isn't a vicious killer who murders teenagers, but a sex deity, culled from a parallel dimension where physical pain has become indivisible with sexual pleasure. Pinhead will definitely kill you, but he will do so with extreme kink. The nails in his face were placed there as part of an extreme S&m game.
"Hellraiser" began its life as "The Hellbound Heart," Barker's 1986 novella. His film adaptation isn't quite as sexed-up,...

Freshly announced this morning, Arrow Video is bringing the Hellraiser franchise to 4K Ultra HD with a brand new Hellraiser: Quartet of Torment Limited Edition 4K Uhd set.
The upcoming set features the following Hellraiser movies:
Hellraiser (1987) Hellbound: Hellraiser II (1988) Hellraiser III: Hell on Earth (1992) Hellraiser: Bloodline (1996)
The most exciting aspect of this release? Arrow’s Hellraiser: Quartet of Torment set features the newly uncovered Workprint Version of fourth installment Hellraiser: Bloodline!
This never-before-seen version of the 1996 sequel, directed by Kevin Yagher, “provides a fascinating insight into how it changed during post production.” The initial cut of the movie ran 110 minutes long, but the studio executives at Miramax demanded major changes that resulted in Yagher departing the project. The final cut ultimately ended up running 85 minutes long, and Yagher was so unhappy with the finished product that he took his name off the movie. That’s why Hellraiser: Bloodline is...

While war movies have been a staple of cinema for decades, the genre has been transformed over the years by daring directors who have sought to bring the brutal reality of armed conflict to the screen. War is, famously, Hell. However, a regular viewer of some war movies might reasonably be shocked to learn this fact. A great many war movies, depict war as a tragic but ultimately life-affirming struggle of good against evil. However, for as long as there have been propaganda movies designed to bolster public support for international adventurism, there have been radical war movies that reshaped the genre.
As far back as 1928’s Hell On Earth (a German anti-war movie about soldiers fighting the “common enemy: War”) and as recently as 2022’s All Quiet On the Western Front, the best war movies have used real-life...
