Fake challenges.
Fake contestants.
Fake drama.
Fake host.
It's so artificial that it's not worth watching. Everything is scripted from what the contestants say and do, to who the winner is. Some of these challengers can barely walk and chew gum at the same time yet they're made out to be these superior athletes who have balls of steel.
The host has no personality. You can see them reading the auto-cue by their delivery of the script, but also from their eyes continually looking at the cue cards.
These networks are getting so desperate for 'original' reality content that they're taking embarrassing short cuts.
No surprise this show got relegated to the 'second division' of network channels.

Boring...challenges are all copied from the original United States version.
No issues with the contestants or the presenter in general but anyone who is a fan of the original show will agree that there is no originality in the Aussie version. Was excited to see this is expanded globally but what a shame. Will continue to watch hoping they prove me wrong later on otherwise I don't think there is much hope for more seasons. Contestants act like the challenges are a surprise to them when I am sure they have all seen the last couple of United States seasons in preparation and know exactly what to expect.

This show was far better than any of the other international versions. These competitors just were more entertaining and competitive. I think it sucks that we haven't heard from more people about bringing this show back... most Australian reality TV is pretty good and USA doesn't have to be the standard.
I think these Survivor and Big Brother players fit in well. It's too bad that they didn't do as well. It was kind of a bummer that it was a shorter season but they provide the diversity that this show benefits from.
I'm definitely spoiled watching this on Paramount+. I think that this should be a lineup for international reality TV. The world champs was incredible.
