I didn't enjoy the 2019 movie "Thanksgiving with the Carters", so I have to say that I harbored zero expectations to the 2022 movie "Christmas With The Carters". But I still opted to watch it, on account of it being a movie that I hadn't already seen. And yeah, knowing it was a movie from Maverick Entertainment, wasn't exactly sweetening the deal.
The storyline in the movie was laughable, and a lot of the dialogue just made my toes curl. I am amazed that writer Bryan G. Thompson could manage to conjure up this level of rubbish.
Of course I was not familiar with a single actor or actress on the cast list. Some of the acting performances were fair, but you're not in for award-winning performances, should you opt to watch this movie.
This was not a particularly good or enjoyable movie, to be bluntly honest.
