Excellent

It is excellent. I felt like reading Mustafa Kutlu's books. I think that all of Mustafa Kutlu's books should produce films. Anyone who is reading his books feels same things. Also Osman Sınav did good job. Already he is best movie maker in Turkey. This film shows that there are still nice things in the life. Also it shows Anatolia is the center of feelings, so it helps to fall in law. But as Kutlu says in Uzun Hikaye ''Uhh that small Anatolia towns, each of them is a hell of unrequited love'' Also he recited ''Books have a fate too''. All of Mustafa Kutlu's stories filled like this wisdoms. Thank you Mustafa Kutlu Thank you Osman Sınav.

Don't expect something very good...

I am not specialized in cinema, acting, playing etc. I am just an ordinary audience. So I review on this aspect and write what I feel.

I like Kenan Imirzalioglu. Maybe because He is my fellow countryman. But I have to critic him a little. On screens He all plays same character. This man always belongs to below middle-class, undergraduate. He is altruistic, straightforward, brave, gentlemen, devoted to his family but tough to bad guys. He barely has an occupation. What he does and how exactly earns his life we don't know. He always oppose, challenge and never surrender. This way of his personality attracts many hostiles and sooner and later those who are not get over with him try to take revenge from his family and beloveds. Though he is ready to die for his beloveds, his stubborn nature indirectly risks his family. He can't get out this contradiction. Although he seems to perform different character this time in Uzun Hikaye, there are many many similarities of his ex-roles. Yusuf in Deli Yurek, Mehmet Kosovali in Aci Hayat, Ezel/Omer in Ezel, Yandim Ali and Mahir in Karadayi. He failed this time too. I expect somewhat different roles which requires different personality and bored to see mono-type man.

As to movie. I couldn't get a clear message. I wondered from beginning to end how it was gonna finish and how all things bind together. Unfortunately it did not. The movie even don't point a serious critique judiciary although main character suffers from prosecutor's injustices. But Ali said that he was gonna campaign legal struggle that would exemplary to all town. An then I couldn't understand when and how Ayla and Mustafa fell in love and run. Anyway at last it was so simple and below the average. The movie was full of Turkish style conditioning, forceful and unnatural acting... Don't waste your time..

Worth to watch

I just watch Uzun Hikaye;first of all movie has something to tell us its not waste of time.Movie has some pluses Tugce Kazaz's and Batuhan's acting,A strong star role,Dynamic scenario, some critics on Turkish political and Justice system....but also movie has some minuses to.1- There's a lot of overrated character in the movie, good people like angels, bad people like son of Satan,i really feel emptiness of gray also we see some reflections on the scenes that.2-Ushan Cakir recently play a character like this(Dedemin İnsanları)Casting could easily find someone else for this role.3-I personally love real life stories on the movies because in the life surprise things happens we can't imagine. That's the dynamo of life but in the movie you can see where screenplay goes in some scenes.4-Its a historical movie who tells the 3 generations in some scenes director could easily gives a date but he's not.For example:Prosecutor says 'its bad time for been communist?i mean its could all 70's or start of the 80's we have no idea.5-In the movie poster Tugce Kazaz like lead actress but she's role not that kind of big.

One of a kind Kenan

Every work of kenan is a triumph after another. We see him in a story and when sadly finishes, we believe this is it and thats the utmost Kenan can give. However, he dazzles us in the following works. There is a devine charisma in him that doesn't portray him only as strong actor but all those around him starting from supporting actors, director, producer and writer. For that, not a single work of his got one award but infact MORE. Everything about him is so unique, shrewd eyes yet so warm, loving breathtaking voice, witty smiles and the warm masculinity in every move he makes. There are alot of messages in this movie and it touches our reality in different aspects. It is always good to relate movies to our life though sometimes we opt to movies to forget our actuality!
