AKA "A very Scandi scandal" in the UK - a jolly romp

Fun and exciting all the way, it will keep your attention through both seasons.

UK/US comedies tend to skip any semblance of story and focus entirely on the slapstick elements, using everyday life issues as a backdrop. Here however, the humour is story-driven ... not unlike Seaside Hotel and to an extent, New Nurses, although they are perhaps more subtle in their comic content.

The other recipe for success is the great chemistry and timing that exists between the two main characters, and also the suspenseful way in which each of their capers runs close to calamity, at every turn. 7.6/10

A refreshingly new approach to crime!

This little gem has a few unexpected twists and turns and doesn't disappoint in terms of keeping you interested, and staying intrigued with what comes next. The two main leads, two 'mature' ladies who are totally believable as characters, have a lovely chemistry and subtle acting that I really enjoyed. That, and the dialogue, which is witty and yet aimed at adults, is a nice change from all the swearing and car chases that some shows rely on to keep your attention. A different kind of crime show that is worth watching, in the original Swedish with subtitles. Thumbs up!

Delightful, entertaining, and funny!

Absolutely fell in love with this series. The premise is great and the plot moves along quickly and is intricate and entertaining. The performances and chemistry of the leads is wonderful. There is humor throughout that is not at the expense of women or the elderly, but truly shows how ludicrous we structure our society to value youth and see women as one dimensional in their desires and needs. I can't wait for Season 2 and what they get up to!

Laughed-Out-Loud

Saw Seasons 1 and 2. Very original. Very funny. The casting of all the character is brilliant ... lots of humor to all of them. Not only are they funny, but the chemistry between them is great and you like them. Season 2 in particular takes some hysterical pot-shots some pretensions in society and pretentious people. Would be nice if there were a Season 3 - but as of 9/16/2019, no word yet.

Season 2 - Shout Out to Greta

Not the usual formula stereotyped crime caper, in this case an artwork that looks like a stuffed rabbit (not clear; a cat somewhere too). Usual twists to keep one's attention. Above average intelligent dialogue for the genre. For me the best part was the shout out to, fellow Swede, Greta Thunberg in this statement by Jenny, "I've decided to skip flying because of my climate anxiety, we could take a train trip." (Side Note: Did you see the look Greta gave Trump when he walked by at the climate summit?)
