Fox announced today that the most popular drama on the Wigs slate, the Julia Stiles-starring Blue, is available on Hulu and its subscription service Hulu Plus beginning today in TV-length episodes. In the near future fellow Wigs series Lauren, starring Troian Bellisario and Jennifer Beals, and Jan, starring Caitlin Gerard, Stephen Moyer and Virgina Madsen, will become available. The expansion of the scripted drama series is part of Fox’s multi-year programming, marketing and distribution partnership with Wigs inked in February, with an eye toward building digital content that can be programmed on Fox and/or other channels. New York — Troian Bellisario's two most recent roles have her playing women at very different times in their lives who have reached their breaking point and are trying to move forward.

She plays teen Spencer Hastings on ABC Family's popular "Pretty Little Liars." Since her best friend was murdered, Spencer and her three best friends have been taunted, tricked and stalked by a group that goes by the name of "A."

Troian Bellisario may be most known for her role as Specer Hastings on the popular ABC Family series Pretty Little Liars, but its her leading role in the Wigs show Lauren that has shown fans how much range she really has. Now in its second season, the 27-year-old recently shared what it's been like to work with co-star Jennifer Beals, and the difficulty it was to re-create some dark and emotional moments, including a military rape.

How did you get involved in Lauren?

Today, Wigs' groundbreaking web series Lauren returns for a 12-episode second season. No one is more proud of the series than the series' stars, Pretty Little Liars' Troian Bellisario and The L Word's Jennifer Beals. We were recently able to join in on a conference call with the AfterEllen favorites in which they talked about the series' lasting impact, about what's in store for season two, and about their fondness for one another.

On the dark nature of their roles in Lauren:

After seeing her insanely good work as the unhinged Spencer in Pretty Little Liars Season 3, we knew Troian Bellisario had some amazing acting skills - but wait until you see her in Season 2 of the online Wigs series, Lauren.

Wow. As a third generation solider who is brutally raped by her superiors, Bellisario plays all the complexities of the role with a freshness and rawness that will only make you more impressed.

The first four episodes of Lauren’s second season are available today on the Wigs website or YouTube, so it was perfect timing that I talked to the star yesterday about the challenges playing Lauren.

She also shared some Pretty Little Liars Season 4 intel involving little things like contents of a certain car trunk and whether we’ll see Spencer don the Red Coat again in the new season.

Troian Bellisario took Pretty Little Liars fans on an unexpectedly powerful emotional journey last season as Spencer had her world rocked, first by her boyfriend's betrayal and then his "death" -- thankfully Toby was just faking. But Bellisario made Spencer's pain so real, it left an indelible mark on fans and the series.

The 27-year-old is also reprising her role as Lauren in Wigs' incredibly important webseries of the same name about a soldier who comes forward following her on-base rape. Season one chronicled Lauren's failed quest to bring her attackers to justice while season two jumps around in time to showcase Lauren's life, pre and post-rape, as well as the series of events that led her superior (played by Jennifer Beals) to stonewall her.

"Pretty Little Liars" brings Season 3 to a close Tuesday night (March 19) with "A dAngerous gAme," which star Troian Bellisario tells Zap2it is chock full of surprises and action -- including Spencer having gone over to the dark side.

If you've been wondering what you're going to do with yourself during the hiatus between Pretty Little Liars seasons and the kick-off of Westside (formerly known as Venice), the new Ilene Chaiken/Jennifer Beals tag-team production, we've got some good news for you: Wigs announced yesterday that we'll be getting 12(!) new episodes of their web series Lauren this spring.

In case you're unfamiliar with the project, Lauren stars Troian Bellisario and Jennifer Beals as Sergeant Lauren Weil and Major Jo Stone, respectively. Lauren's decision to report being raped by several male soldiers leads her up the chain of command to Major Stone. However, Lauren does not receive empathy from her commanding female officer; instead, she is faced with derision and beratement when Major Stone suggests that only women who think they're "special" expect to escape a career in the military without being sexually harassed. Fox has entered a programming, marketing and distribution partnership with the Wigs YouTube channel, and revamped its programming staff in order to further support the network's various on-air and growing digital programming efforts, Fox said Tuesday. Under the multi-year agreement with Wigs, which offers programming such as the Julia Stiles/Jeanne Tripplehorn series "Blue" and the Jennifer Beals offering "Lauren," Fox will assume a collaborative role in developing and marketing the channel, with an eye toward expanding its female viewer base and building content that can be programmed on Fox and/or other...

Of the four "Pretty Little Liars," Spencer Hastings is as Type A as they come. Throughout the ABC Family show's two and a half seasons, the overachieving Wasp has arguably been more determined than anyone to find out who's been blackmailing her and her friends, but it's the one "A" she can't get.

But a lot changes when Season 3 of "Pretty Little Liars" returns on Tuesday, January 8 at 8 p.m. Est and Troian Bellisario, the actress who plays Spencer, says she's having the most fun she's ever had on the series.

When Spencer finds out the truth about her boyfriend-turned-"A"-Team-member Toby (Keegan Allen), "She really has lost everything, in her eyes," Bellisario told HuffPost TV via phone.
