Never pass the class with this

This HAS to be a school project, as no one would make something this bad and actually publish it intentionally. The camera work is the quality of a cell phone (and I am not talking about the latest iPhone) and likely used the phone's mic also. I first thought an actual script probably does not exist, and then I noticed the 'closeups' appear to allow the actors (being kind with that description) to literally read off a piece of paper just off camera. My hats off to anyone that can actually watch the entire movie, or heck even get past the mid point ... I tried hoping there was some gem or quality I could give some credit to, but no luck. Don't waste your time.

Another fun and cheesy genre effort in a long line of such films

After a strange series of accidents, a lake ranger of a small community finds the cause to be a demonically-possessed motorboat killing people as a result of a special cult seeking revenge for being overthrown years earlier, forcing him to team up with the priest who originally killed him to stop the rampage.

There's quite a lot to like with this one. Among the better aspects of this one comes from the detailed and highly-involved storyline that has a lot going on. The initial setup of the cult operating out of the area and the backstory of the group worshiping dark beings that require the operative to go in and stop them is a fantastic starting point. The inclusion of the priest who's responsible for stopping them and the revelations that come about due to it offering the rampage of the boat and the need to stop the reanimated spirit at the center of the havoc being caused makes this quite fun overall. This lets the film have a lot of fun when it gets to the runaway boat massacring victims. The cheesy charm expected here by so many of the previous efforts should tell you there's a sense of fun involving the clumsily-superimposed vehicle appearing and chewing victims to pieces using its onboard equipment to do so. The switch over into battling the demonic spirits causing everything resulting in supernatural battles armed with religious-themed weaponry is quite a nice balance, and with the big battle to stop it taking place as a cheesy boat chases there's some goofy fun to be had here. There isn't much to be had here that really works against it. Just about every flaw here is the stuff that's to be expected here, from the wild and wacky storyline that has a lot of fun elements present but doesn't make much sense to the flimsy effects of the toy boat being made to look like a full-scale vehicle and the guerilla-style locations. All of this is really commonplace for what's in store in this type of film and really should be no surprise as it goes along so all of those scenes should be quite familiar with everything that goes on and can't be seen as a true detriment even though it still holds this down.

Rated Unrated/R: Violence and Language.
