Lynda Carter Spotted In Washington As Wonder Woman 2 Begins Production
The latest Gal Gadot-led entry into the Dceu has been heating up for quite some time now. Most notably, after doing his part in creating the undeniable on-screen chemistry between Steve Trevor and Diana Prince, Chris Pine was reportedly spotted on the set of Wonder Woman 2.

However, with production having kicked off in Washington D.C. this week, under the working title Magic Hour, an even bigger name has been seen in the United States capital – the first Diana of Themyscira, Lynda Carter. The actress’ presence at game four of the Stanley Cup Final between the Vegas Golden Knights and Washington Capitals last night has prompted many to believe that she’ll be making an appearance in the DC Heroine’s second standalone feature.

Unfortunately, Carter was unable to show up in the 2017 blockbuster due to a scheduling conflict. Thankfully, though, this time around it does look like the original Daughter of Hippolyta,...

Wonder Woman 2 Working Title Helps Reveal the Villain?
Tom Hardy, Michelle Williams, and Riz Ahmed in Venom (2018)
The wave of incoming 2018 movies has mostly washed ashore. With the release of Deadpool 2, Han Solo and Venom trailers this past week alone, we know how this year is pretty much going to shake out, with just a few surprises left to discover. So it's time to look towards the future. And that all begins with next year's most anticipated non-Disney release Wonder Woman 2. The movie is set to shoot this summer in the U.K. Now we have the rumored working title and the possible main villain.

Some sleuthers have been digging around, hunting for any and all production details on Wonder Woman 2, the sequel to last year's one true DC Comics hit. Wonder Woman was the phenomenon of the summer, and now we're getting more. But exactly what will that 'more' be?

We know we're probably getting a movie set in the 80s, which gives...

"Wonder Woman 2" - Enter 'Circe'
According to reports, one of the main female villains in the developing sequel "Wonder Woman 2" (aka "Magic Hour") , will be 'Circe', a 'sorceress' that debuted in "Wonder Woman" #37 (1949), created by writer Robert Kanigher and illustrator Harry G. Peter:

In the original DC Comics continuity, Circe is a centuries-old enchantress kept young by the elixir 'vitae'.

Gaining magical powers on the island 'Aeaea', she becomes skilled at turning men into animals resembling their personalities (ie. pigs) ...

...and for these crimes against humanity 'Hippolyta' banishes her to 'Sorca', an island planet in space "...where she can do no harm."

When she manages to return to Earth, Circe tries to destroy Wonder Woman, because an oracle said "...the daughter of Hippolyta will be her undoing."

Despite various comic book interpretations over the years, Circe's key features include immortality, physical beauty, a command over sorcery and a delight in humiliating her foes.

What to Watch Friday: CSI: NY Gets a Clue, Haven Sees the Light, 20/20 Goes to Work and More
Gary Sinise and Sela Ward in Les Experts : Manhattan (2004)
On TV this Friday: CSI: NY may have to consult with Professor Plum, Haven‘s Nate is headin’ for Heaven, Last Man Standing is rather dodgy and 20/20 looks at cubicle culture. As a supplement to TVLine’s original features (linked within), here are eight programs to keep on your radar.

8 pm Undercover Boss (CBS) | Tilted Kilt boss Ron Lynch goes undercover at his chain of Hooters-meets-Scotland pubs — though presumably not in one of the waitresses’ trademark outfits.

8 pm Last Man Standing (ABC) | Mike forms a secret afterschool dodgeball club for Boyd and the neighborhood kids. It’s like Fight Club...

Exclusive First Images from Magic Hour by Writer/Director Cole Mueller
Collider is happy to bring you the first exclusive images from Magic Hour, the indie crime drama from writer/director Cole Mueller (Green Guys).  The story follows a young man and his association with a Venice Beach crime family.  Magic Hour is said to be in the vein of Francis Ford Coppola's The Outsiders and Rumble Fish, two films that feature teenage gang warfare and sport a cult following.  Mueller's film stars C. Thomas Howell (The Amazing Spider-Man), himself an alumnus of Coppola's The Outsiders.  Magic Hour also stars William Russ (Boy Meets World), Kris Lemche (Final Destination) and Will Wallace (The Tree of Life).  Hit the jump to check out the first exclusive images. Mueller emphasized the feeling of nostalgia in Magic Hour, a period piece set in 1990.  He mentions references to the original" Nintendo system, clap-on lights, VHS camcorders, New Kids on the Block, early 90's neon" just to name a few.

Tom Lipinski A Young Josh Brolin In ‘Labor Day’; Further Casting on ‘Identity Theft,’ ‘Magic Hour,’ and ‘Percy Jackson’
Kate Winslet and Josh Brolin are the onscreen equivalent of peaches and cream (or any pleasing combination, actually), but the latest casting on Jason Reitman‘s Labor Day might just be my favorite. As Variety reports, Tom Lipinski (Suits) is the top choice to play a young version of Brolin‘s character — specifically, “Frank Chambers an escaped convict who seeks shelter with a depressed single mom (Winslet) and her young son over a long Labor Day weekend.”

In flashback sequences, we’ll encounter Frank as a young Vietnam veteran who discovers that, twixt his departure and return, the love of his life is “no longer the innocent teenage girl he left behind.”And while I haven’t a clue if Lipinski is actually a decent actor — these sounds like crucial scenes, in the grand emotional scheme of things — the resemblance between the both of them is almost too good to pass up.
