Kurosagi

This is a revenge drama, the main character is a young man who lost his family as a result of them losing everything to a scam artist. He grows up under the wing of a master scam artist and the king pin of that murky world. In a twist, he takes down scam artists, working with the mastermind, as the story goes on it becomes clear that there is all sorts of manipulation and double dealing. While each episode has its own story it all forms part of a story arc across the series.

If the story is quite conventional it's well done and enjoyable. A strong cast play their parts well and production values are high. The story has plenty of unexpected twists and moves along at a good pace. The characters grow over the series and the viewer is drawn in to form attachments to them.

Overall, it might not be great TV, but it is well made entertaining and enjoyable TV with an excellent cast. So if not great TV it's extremely entertaining TV and a great watch.
