This one will leave you Exhausted at the end !
The last 30 minutes had my heart racing ! I would suggest not watching before you go to bed. Beautiful work with the natural scenery of the South ... great cinematography that captures the serene wonders of Alabama. The acting was pretty darn good too ! Especially during the final 20 to 30 minutes .. WOW. Very believable scenes !
Nice build up and then it gets RIGHT to the Boom at the end.... really well done. For a lower budget film, it's outstanding... really did ALOT with a small money pile.
I think I would have liked more "flashback" scenes that mixed the present with the past, but that is just my opinion. Speaking of exhausted, I'd like to see what they can do with a larger budget...

I do not believe this movie could be worse. It features Michael Pare -- who in the early 80's was the darling of Hollywood and then shrunk to appearing in endless movies like this.
The acting is horrendous. Worse than horrendous in fact.
There are ridiculous jump scares thtt arent scarey and the musical soundtrack is totally inappropriate to the action.
I can't imagine where they dug up these "actors." It's like a juvvy show. Supposedly based on a semi true story, but if the story was that good, why woouldn't a major producer option it?
The only saving grace is that the girlfriends are easy on the eyes. And that really doesnt get you thru the film.

Some interesting drone shots of Alabama in the opening are the best thing about this movie. The rest is pap.
It has all the hallmarks of terrible movie, awful acting.....seriously all actors should give up, this line of work is not for you. The direction is terrible, the lighting bad, the story, script and plot are all pointless.
I give it a two out of ten because giving a low budget slice of nonsense like this is like clubbing seals. So I give it an extra point as a 'well done for trying' reward. But please, for the love of god, do not make anymore film, ever.
I'm not sure who would like this movie. Not recommended.

I saw the bad reviews but thought to give it a try, I'm glad I did. It was well worth it, Cayla Green, the leading actress gave a good performance. I enjoyed the whole movie. Alabama Rose, shot in Alabama had a wonderful cinematography, it kept my attention as the story progressed. As noted in the trivia section some events in the film are based loosely on experiences of Executive Producer J Spencer, as a model photographer. The soundtrack had some good local music. If you want to call it a B movie then it an "A" B Movie!. The Director was great even though it was a low budget movie. I wonder how it would look if it was a high budget movie, but the director kept interjecting establishing drone shots and some panoramic shots gave the movie a better look..

- TriviaSome events in the film are based loosely on experiences of Executive Producer J Spencer, as a model photographer. J was also a police officer & serves as a Reserve Deputy at the time of production. The police & fire medic vehicle are one vehicle, a former Pennsylvania State Trooper SUV J purchased to use in various feature & short films. A conversation with the real Nicole Summer about men treating her inappropriately over her modeling inspired J to go forward & make the film.
