I really enjoyed this movie. It's sweet, funny and endearing. Visually, it's beautiful and a total love letter to San Antonio with its gorgeous, sweeping views, to love itself and to the importance of family and traditions.
Luis Fonsi is a natural on screen (you'd never know it's his first leading role), as are the female leads. Vannessa Vasquez is a stand-out, who moves from the denial of family traditions to acceptance and appreciation for what was in front of her all along. I also loved the 'tías,' the grandmother and cousins, who rally around her character.
I highly recommend this sweet, heartwarming film!
