‘Main Hoon Aparajita’ actor Shweta Tiwari recalled her journey as Aparajita on the show, which has completed 200 episodes recently.

She shared her experience of working with her co-actor Manav Gohil and the entire cast of the family drama.

The show revolves around Shweta’s character Aparajita, who is a mother of three daughters, played by Anushka Merchande, Dhwani Gori and Shruti Choudhary and her struggle of being a wife to a husband, played by Manav Gohil, who is in love with another woman, portrayed by Shweta Gulati.

While expressing her gratitude, Shweta said: “In fact, while we all are happy on completing 200 episodes, we also feel there are many chapters yet to be written. Playing the role of Aparajita has been an incredible opportunity for me and I am grateful to have had the chance to work with such a talented and supportive team, who has helped me bring this complex character to life.

Mumbai, March 29 (Ians) ‘Main Hoon Aparajita’ actress Garvita Sadhwani shared how it took her three hours to put on and remove the prosthetic makeup daily in the show.

Garvita, who is playing the role of Mohini (Shweta Gulati)’s daughter, Niya, shared: “As an actor, I aspire to experiment with art. And after shooting the fire sequence, I’m quite ecstatic. I’m a big fan of costumes, make-up, prosthetics and changing my look as I get to experiment and play around with different things. There were burnt bruises that I had to put on throughout the scenes and while it was surely a task in maintaining it, I believe in the end the effort was truly worth it.”

‘Hostel Daze’ actor Varun Kasturia, who has made his TV debut with ‘Main Hoon Aparajita’, shared how he is enjoying shooting for the show, and also added that Manav Gohil called him to appreciate his acting skills after watching his first scene on air.

Varun shared: “This is my first TV show and I am so thrilled to join it, because it has such great experienced actors like Manav Gohil sir, Shweta Tiwari and Shweta Gulati ma’am. Sharing the screen space with them is in itself an achievement for me.”

‘Shaadi Mubarak’ actor Manav Gohil walked down memory lane and shared how his way of celebrating the festival has changed with time: he is now more cautious about nature. He shared: “Holi is one of my favourite festivals. I enjoy celebrating it and have the fondest memories associated with the festival from my childhood. I remember when I was a kid, we used to play Holi with dark colours but as we grew up, we switched to eco-friendly colours.”

Mumbai, March 3 (Ians) It is most important for popular TV actor Manav Gohil to reach his workplace, so he decided to commute by metro rather than driving his own car to save time.

He shared his experience travelling in the metro and said: “The ones who live in Mumbai, will understand how early we have to leave from home to reach a place even if it’s a few kilometres away, just because of the peak hour traffic jam. To beat the same, I recently took the new metro line (Andheri to Dahisar), and I intend to take it often.”

Mumbai, Feb 22 (Ians) ‘Main Hoon Aparajita’ actress Anushka Merchande is having all fun while shooting for the upcoming wedding in the show and she is cautious about her look, attire, make-up, and jewellery. She decided to apply real henna on her hand instead of using stick-on mehendi.

She said that although it is an on-screen marriage she wants to make it memorable for the audience and herself as well.

Anushka shared: “Even the simplest wedding ceremony is incomplete without mehendi, and when I got to know about the upcoming wedding sequence, I thought why not put henna by myself. My passion for art has always been evident, whether it’s drawing, sketching, or painting, and during the wedding sequence, I discovered a newfound love for mehendi designs.”
