I'm not going to lie - i'm a huge zombies and survival horror fan. I have been waiting for this game since i beat the original "Dead Island" year ago (in fact, i beat it twice), and that was one of the most involving games ever. "Dead Island Riptide" does not disappoints to say at least - it's soooo good, involving and bloody that i must confess - sometimes it's even better than the first "Dead Island". It's also more polished, and graphics are also a little bit improved. Quest are very fun. This game has very dark humor. RPG element in this game is probably the main engine that drives this game - it's so damn good and addictive that i can't stop playing it. I totally recommend this game to everyone, who loved the first one.

Alright, lets get this settled. Many people are giving this game a bad review for the wrong reasons. The first dead island. Was it perfect? No. Was it a fun gory zombie slash game? Yes. Thats exactly what this is. If you are looking for a complex story, don't buy this game. If you want open world, zombies, awesome weapon mods, good graphics, and the odd mangled bikini clothed women, get this game. If you loved the first Dead Island, you will love Riptide.

I personally feel this game has delivered everything I am looking for in another Dead Island game. The only thing I would like to have been added, more variety of zombies.

Overall, this is a great game and with a brand new price of $49.99, thats pretty hard to hate.

the new characters, zombies and features that have been added in this game will lead to weeks of fun. No joke, these games are addictive. as far as graphics go they have improved since the first dead island and are fine, realistic enough for me. reviews have been hard on this game saying the graphics are bad and its bug/glitchy, i promise you when i say this, they don't know what they are saying. graphics don't make a good game, customization, excitement, story and good features make a good game. this game is fun to play with friends or on your own. if you like ,action games or scary games or shooting games or the first dead island than i am certain you will like dead island riptide. one of the funnest games in history. 10/10
