The Channel Five drama, we have the good, the bad and the ugly. Desperate Measures shows what they're capable of, Blindspot, sadly is not one of the good ones, it's fairly average.
The story is ok, the acting isn't great sadly, fortunately there are one or two big, dramatic moments that add a little excitement.
Episode one was the highlight for me, I really liked the opening sequences, sharp and dramatic, they grabbed the attention, a similar sequence in episode two helped.
Ross Kemp, this was billed as his big return to acting, I think he did a fair job, one or two of the others came across as pretty wooden.
I love playing spot the filming location, and despite a couple of shots from The UK, it's clearly Budapest or somewhere near the area.
5/10.

Ross Kemp is wasted in this series as he is a great actor and a very believable in any role. The storyline was predictable and spoilt by all the other actors in particular Gerry, Hannah and Amber - they were so weak in their performances that it made me cringe every time they spoke
Dolly was a very good actress and I liked her a lot
It's great to see Ross Kemp back as an actor - he deserves far better programmes to be in than this though. I don't think he should stick to documentaries either...Ross Kemp has been missed and I would watch him in anything
Welcome back to mainstream acting Ross!

Some of the worse Tv your likely to see. Made of a budget of about 20 quid. Awful acting. Terrible writing and it honestly takes itself so seriously that it becomes a comedy. How this was ok to transmit to the public I don't know.
Shot in Hungary doubling from a no named British town, even though nothing looks English.
Phoning it in from Kemp would be a complement. You can tell he doesn't wanna be there.
The girl in the chairs real disability is her acting. She's horrible.
The writing feels like one of those week day afternoon BBC dramas. They ones no one watches. Please. Just don't waste 4 hours of your life.

Early in the story, when the young lady wheeled herself out of danger faster than the bad guy could run, I knew the writing would not be stellar; but many of the scripts today leave much to be desired. The viewer must pay attention to the opening act to get the personalities & relationship of the main characters; Better editing may have made the story follow a bit more smoothly. I was waiting for a reason Hannah had shaved hair one year later but none was ever given.
Hannah, in my opinion, was not a likeable character, none of them were actually, but the who-done-it aspect held my attention throughout. Everyone was less than honest, forthcoming & helpful, and looked guilty and/or possibly involved at some point. Many twists & turns. I didn't expect the ending; I was glad I stuck with it.

This is so horrendously bad - I'm addicted to it. If this was Ross Kemp doing a documentary on bad acting, I'd give it a 10/10.
The acting is bad, the script is bad, the story could be good if it had been better produced.
For a thriller, there are few thrills and little in the way of tension or apprehension. It has literally stirred no emotion in me - apart from disbelief.
The CCTV was installed post-murder to make the estate safer. But no CCTV installed to cover the dark bin area which was the scene of the murder 🤷
If I could be bothered, I'd play cliché bingo - every sad cliché has been used. The over-acting would be considered good if this was an end of term school play, but as a prime time drama it lacks any quality.
Having said that - I will continue watching on the off chance it gets better.
