Where was the Bible & Jesus in this Christian Film?

Found this movie to be difficult to watch. Acting, to us, was sub par. A Christian film & almost the only reference to Jesus Christ was the character who wore the same hat & shirt over quite a bit of time. So many opportunities to show where kindness really comes from were missed. Seems that the Bible, God's Word to mankind was not referenced.

Yes, many who watched this film did not miss any of that, & only looked for human kindness, but the characters were supposed to be Christians. Therefore, Christ & the Bible should take c enter stage.

Unique.

This was a first time seeing Braedon Sorbo. He provides a unique, engaging, and endearing character portrayal as a budding journalist--"the Doogie Howser of Journalism" who is trying to grow up too fast without processing a real family tragedy. He learns how to find "the gift" even when life takes everything from him. Tremendous warmth and love on the screen in several of the actors in this movie. That has become a trademark of JCFilms. I will be looking for Braedon Sorbo's movies again. He has a great future ahead. Congratulations and God Bless the team at JCFilms. Thoroughly enjoyed this movie.

Good message and surprising performances

A short low-budget movie about how even small actions can have a large impact on our lives and others. It had heart, a good message and a great performance from the young Avaryana Rose. As with most low-budget movies the acting can be stiff and underwhelming. Not so with the beautiful Avaryana she was electric on the screen. She gave a very convincing portrayal of a young lady that was struggling with life after a life changing event. She was electric in her scenes and was always waiting for her next scene. I'm expecting to see more from Avaryana. I'm sure with her talent this will not be the last time we hear from this talent.
