Buffalo Nickel Productions and director Emil Novak have completed production on the indie horror and creature feature title Frankenstein's Patchwork Monster. This title brings some of the most notorious creatures of the 19th Century to film, including: the Bride of Frankenstein. Some real life writers, Lord Byron and Mary Shelley, will also appear in this feature. As well, prolific actress Melantha Blackthorne (Sinners and Saints) stars, along with Bill Kennedy and Robert Bozek. Several stills from the film are hosted here. The film involves an ancient wager, between several writers. Who can create the most terrifying work of horror fiction? Mary Shelley's Prometheus sets the bar high and several of her characters will be seen in Novak's latest. Currently in production is an imaginative and original Frankenstein film, and genre veteran Melantha Blackthorne is attached to star. Its title is Frankenstein’s Patchwork Monster.

Arguably, when it comes to iconic monsters, the first one that comes into mind is usually “Frankenstein’s monster.” It has been done to death some would say, though the producers of this steampunk noir-horror film would strongly disagree. Writer/director/producer Emil J. Novak, Sr., says: “Having Melantha involved with this film production has allowed us to go places we could only have dreamed of without her. Her knowledge and acting experience brings a new and refreshing twist to the Bride character.”
