I gave it 6 stars because it gave some moments of entertainment but sincerely it's a boring anime. I think that the animation is ok and also the music.
What I dislike is the indiscriminate use of the "plot power": they presents us the strongest villain and when our prota
Plot
"Omega" is composed of two seasons and follows the typical"destined heroes having to save the world from evil"plot just like the original"Saint Seiya"did. If you are looking for a dark and complex story than"Omega"is definitely not for you because its plot is quite simple yet entertaining.
The first season focuses on the battle against Mars.In the first episode we are introduced to the protagonist and the Pegasus Saint of this generation Koga who was raised by Saori Kido unaware that she is actually the reincarnation of the Goddess Athena.Koga at first refuses to become a Saint because he has no idea of what is really going on however when Mars kidnaps Athena so that he rule over the Earth and Koga(now aware that Saori is actually Athena)despite of his efforts fails to stop him,he sets out in a journey to find Athena.Of course it follows the typical"meeting a friend along the way who will later become your alley"plot line and so Koga meets Souma who tells him to join Palaestra(the training school for Saints).
The second season is focused on the battle against Pallas. The season opens with a scene in which Saori(who due to a bracelet that binds her with Pallas is getting her life force constantly drained out so that Pallas can use it so that she can grow up)with remorse orders Saggitarius Seiya that he must kill Pallas in order to prevent the war from happening however the kind hearted Seiya fails to kill Pallas because of the fact that she is in the form of a helpless child. One of the things that makes this story interesting is the relationship between Athena and Pallas, during the"Age of Myth"Athena and Pallas used to be as close as sisters but after a tragic turn of events Athena was forced to kill Pallas and now Pallas is back in order to take revenge on Athena and on humanity. However the most interesting thing about this season is that in the second part it turns out that the real enemy is not Pallas but another God who has been orchestrating the events all along.
In this season all Saints(included the Gold Saints later on) are involved in the battle against Pallas and its a great thing that we get to see the original Bronze Saints fighting.
Another thing that makes this season good is that Athena has an active role in the story instead of being reduced to the damsel in distress.Despite her weakening life force Athena used her Cosmo to locate Pallas' whereabouts and after feeling guilty about the Saints that were dying in the war because of her she decides to engage herself in the battle against Pallas. We also get to see Athena fighting with the Athena Cloth on(which was a missed opportunity in the original manga/anime)
Saturn the God of time was a great major antagonist and a very interesting character as well. The final battle against him was also much more interesting and exciting to watch than the battles against Poseidon and even Hades in the original manga/anime.Also the aftermath ended up being very different from all the other fights against the gods in the"Saint Seiya"franchise which made"Omega"more original in that regard. The anime ends with a fitting conclusion but at the same time leaves the way open for a new adventure.
Characters
Without a doubt the strongest point of"Omega"are its characters. The 5 characters of the main cast all have interesting stories that explain why they decided to become Saints, episodes that develop their characters and all of them get to prove their strength in various fights."Omega"also does a great job in establishing their friendship and showing how strong it really is although to some viewers the whole friendship message which was especially prominent in the second season might be a little annoying.
Besides the main cast"Omega"has other interesting secondary characters(including some antagonist)as well:In season 1 you have Orion Eden,Sonia,Arie,Mars,Medea,Taurus Harbinger(who's character develops very much in the second season),Capricorn Ionia,Libra Genbu(who has a short but important appearance in the second season),Gemini Paradox(who also appears in the second season as an antagonist and become even more interesting as well),Peacock Pavlin and Pisces Amour while in season 2 you have Saturn,Titan,Equuleus Celeris(despite the fact that he was a minor character),Athena,Saggitarius Seiya,Pallas,Kerry(who again is a minor character),Aegon,Hyperion,Galia,Gemini Integra,Europa and Mira.
Art & Animation
The art in"Omega"isn't bad,the backgrounds actually look really beautiful but when it comes to the character design even though it does work for some characters its rather hard to get used too because it is more childish and too cute looking compared to the character design of the original anime.
The animation is above average, its far from being the best however I have seen much worse.
Music
The soundtrack is actually very good especially when it comes to the 4 opening songs and the insert songs in the second season. The instrumental themes are also beautiful as well.
Conclusion:
While its far from being a masterpiece or the kind of"You must definitely watch"anime,"Omega"is still a fun and entertaining fantasy shounen anime that its worth watching if you are just looking for a simple and entertaining story with enjoyable characters.

I put 5 stars out of 10 just because I am a fan since young so for being a fan of the series, I gave an honourable 5 but it can be worse.
First of all, I don't like the title. I know it is a spin off but it is just wrong to put a character's name on it when the main character is not that character.
Secondly, it really bothers me before that Brass Saints just beat up everyone and continue to be lower level Saints. They ends up to be the strongest Saints and defeated many godly opponents. I actually liked Hades saga because the Gold Saints were involving in a lot of fighting and showed their great powers. This new instalment just does not make any sense that Brass Saints just keep defeating Godlike characters for no obvious explanation or storyline. They just suddenly become so strong and overpowering anyone on their way. Gold Saints become secondary and we already know they cannot reach Omega level by now.
Thirdly, I actually find that the story is interesting in a certain way and the drawing technical is improved but it is about the links between the chapters. Nothing particularly makes sense between the chapters. Other fighting Manga like Narutos, Dragon Ball or One Piece shows improvement of the characters, they learn through their adventure and gradually become stronger as the story develops, which makes more sense and enjoyable to read/watch. Saint Seya Omega story is nice but lack of sense that other mega provides.

Then I do the review of Saint Seiya Omega then a lot of people always say that this anime is a mainatan spin-off No this is really a sequel In fact these set a lot of years after the events of the original anime So what do I think about it I think of this series Sofor me it's ok but it's not at the level of the original soul So starting with the animation for me it's not very good enough animation Because some drawings are not done well Especially those of the characters and yet the designers are really the same as those of Pretty Cure But the most thingThe bad thing about this anime is the things they wear, which should be armor that looks just like tin onesies. But because I want to talk for a moment about a character, namely Koga, this too, as happened with Seiya, could have been done much much better as a character. Because somemoments it really makes things absurd and embarrassing So this anime has two seasons So the first one I found it just a disaster Beijing bones friends In addition to the things that are of no use at all this uses must move twelve-stroke climbs and here yes there are some new ones golden knights I tell yousome can be good but the others are really absurd the ones I don't like are twins crab Leo scorpion goat Aquarius These are the only ones I had to own Bozzardi in terms of behavior and personality and then the bad mas is really a very ugly bad butI'm not saying how it's made but how they drew it It's really very bad So this thing is really bad but now let's talk about the second season So for me the second season is much better than the first mirrors finally the creators of this anime have really decided to commit this time old This time our heroes no longer wear tin onesies, stains really become armor worthy of the name, the chests they contained also return and this time the enemies they face or the paiasani all our heroes including the golden knightsthey face the long battle and then the battles are much harder than in the previous season and then I only wonder one thing Mature Maya and Omega are really very powerful compared to the Divine face armors which here they managed to destroy a lot of very people powerful Ifsdo you agree with me If you didn't like the first season, at least give the second season a chance because it's a thousand times better and I can also tell you that this series has received the same treatment as Dragon Ball GT, that is, everyone lives who doesn't exists since it doesn't existRectory to conclude rating 7.
The series is much like the original one. Those that wrote a negative Review have forgotten that the original series had exactly the same weaknesses. Back then they were probably Kids like me, and they didn't pay Attention to those flaws. They have grown up while the series hasn't.
Like in the old series, bronze Saints who are supposed to be at the bottom of the hierarchy are able to overcome enemies with sheet will. Like in the original series, they take blow after blow but never die or waver, they stand up time after time again.
What I enjoyed most about the new series was the time spent developing at the academy. I think this portion could have been extended. Some of the fights were a bit rushed and the new Gold Saints where a bit less interesting than the original ones because their attacks were less mysterious, mainly because the pace was a bit fast. The original series took the time to develop characters and provide more Background Information about the strengths of each Saint.
Still Overall, if you use your Imagination you can dive back into the old day series and this becomes very enjoyable.

- TriviaThe creative staff, including character designer Umakoshi and head writer Reiko Yoshida, previously worked under flagship Saint Seiya director Shigeyasu Yamauchi, either on the original Saint Seiya anime adaptation (director Morio Hatano was assistant director of its fifth film), or on his other works, such as Mushiking: Mori no Tami no Densetsu and Casshern Sins. They referred to Yamauchi as a strong influence in interviews.
