This short student film (Michigan State University film students) had everything. A great script, great acting and professional looking composition. Great score too! The characters were excellent and the script was witty and clever. I was impressed by how well the cast and crew captured the feel, dialog and pace of the film noir genre. I am looking forward to more films from the MSU program. I hope this film helps MSU grow its film program. I am expecting to see The Case of The Torched Turf win some awards on the film festival circuit. I am hoping this great student film inspires all involved to pursue film careers. Great job Spartans!!
