Time Pirates

Sub-par acting but great chemistry between the actors and the weirdest storyline. I've heard of SM6 from TikTok and some commentary YouTube videos, so watching it only based off of that was quite a wild ride. I was a bit confused as to if this was satire or not, but I decided to watch it like it was and I think that was a good decision!

I think the stand-out from this movie was actress Angela Cole who portrayed pirate Anne Bonny and sibling duo Jack & Eliana Jones. These three were my favorite part of the movie and I'm glad they get their spotlight here.

Quite a weird way to promote a band famous from the Internet but I'll take it. I think the platform, Tubi, isn't a good choice if they want to give the band more fans. Good luck, SM6!

First of all, I personally think Adam needs to trim his overly hairy armpits. This movie was bad all around and I am not sure who the pigeon looking girl is but she definitely needs some acting lessons. George and Isabelle were amazing but sadly they were over shadowed by Adam and pigeon! I would not waste your time or money until they produce a few more films. I know "gorilla pits" and "pigeon" are are in negotiations so hopefully we get some more films soon. Bad all around. On TikTok, everyone also agrees if you look through their comments. I'm not sure why they decided a movie was a good thing to add to their portfolio but they need to stop.

The only star is because time-traveling pirate stories haven't been beaten to absolute death yet.

The children were apparently the first ones ever to go inside a giant pirate ship setpiece inside of a giant stage, hugely believe pivotal piece of the plot.

Captain Blackbears famously had laws prohibiting women from serving on his ships in any capacity.

Theater kids paraded in front of toddlers on a free-with-ads app that comes pre-installed on every television without consent, and all because TikTok is speedballing the cognitive decline of our race.

Gen Z truly makes me less and less worried about the collapsing thermocline. Maybe extinction isn't so bad.

This movie is truly amazing. The acting was amazing and the actors themselves had great chemistry and that really showed on screen. I highly recommend this movie to anyone i know. It's funny but the comedic part doesn't deter from the plot. It's truly my new favorite movie! I think the music also works well with this film, using SM6's songs incorporated into scenes was the smartest way to do it. It's family friendly also!! It uses the trope of a cheesy pirate movie to its advantage by making fun of it. It was a really smart approach to this genre of movie that's been hanging on by a thread. I think it's better than pirates of the caribbean in terms of the pirate aspect. It also gives off vibes of teen beach movie on disney with the time travel aspect. The end credit scene also set it up for a possible sequel! I'm so so proud of the whole cast and im hoping for a sequel!!
