Shannen Doherty is nothing if not brutally honest -- and she wouldn't have it any other way. In a career move that would soften the image of almost any Hollywood bad girl, Doherty let a reality TV crew film her planning her wedding for "Shannen Says" (Sundays, 10 p.m. Et on We tv) ... but is it working?
Doherty, who tied the knot with photographer Kurt Iswarienko back in October, seems pretty happy with how she's being portrayed on the show, but admits that because they set out to make the show really honest and authentic, "sometimes I'm not gonna come across great."
And although this is her third marriage -- the other two being to Ashley Hamilton in 1993 (whom she divorced after five months of marriage) and Rick Salomon in 2002 (which was annulled after seven months and one infamous leaked sex tape with Paris Hilton) -- it was her first real wedding,...

As much as Shannen Doherty and her new husband, Kurt Iswarienko, like the idea of becoming parents, there's one big - and adorable! - thing holding them back: their new puppy Bowie. "We go back and forth all the time about it, it's like one minute we're like, 'Oh my God, let's have a baby!' and then the next minute our puppy does something crazy," she told People at Jennie Garth's 40th birthday celebration in West Hollywood on Thursday night. The actress, whose new We reality show, Shannen Says, premieres April 24, brought Bowie home in March. He joins dogs Leroy and Leo,...

Doherty Planning For Pregnancy
Actress Shannen Doherty is so eager to become a mother, she has begun packing on the pounds to boost her chances of falling pregnant.
The former Beverly Hills, 90210 star wed photographer Iswarienko in October and their life as newlyweds has been documented for her reality show Shannen Says.
Earlier this month, the 40 year old confessed she wasn't ready to start a family yet, telling PR.com, "We both want children, but more importantly, we want each other and we want to be with each other. Whatever else happens is fate and a blessing, but right now I think we're both so happy being married and together, and that's our focus."
But now it appears Doherty's maternal clock has kicked into high gear - she's now consciously putting on weight so she's better fit to handle pregnancy.
She tells People magazine, "If I'm able to have a child because I'm a little fatter, then great! I feel a peace I've never felt before. Now I'm ready for the next chapter in my life."
And the couple is already thinking ahead - Doherty admits they're currently building a house with a nursery.

Kurt Iswarienko convinced his wife Shannen Doherty to give babysitting a try on the latest "Shannen Says" (Tue., 10 p.m. Et on We), but the experience was nothing like they'd hoped. As soon as the baby's parents left, the wailing began, and there was nothing the couple could do to stop it.
"He's just sad that they're leaving. He'll be okay in one second," Shannen said, but quickly realized it may not be that easy. "Maybe not one second."
Nothing they tried seemed to make a difference, and they found themselves bickering over the best way to handle the crying baby situation. Any parent can sympathize, as there is nothing so challenging as trying to find out why a baby is crying. No one wants to see a baby suffering, but when it's not clear why it's happening, feelings of helplessness can settle in.

Shannen Doherty's latest reality show Shannen Says debuted last night, and between that and Tori Spelling's recent round of attention-gathering, it hit us: Has any other show been able to spawn as many reality contestants and series as Beverly Hills 90210?Tori Spelling alone has had several reality shows. First came Tori & Dean: Inn Love, then Tori & Dean: Home Sweet Hollywood, and then Tori & Dean: sTORIbook Weddings. Shannen Doherty had Breaking Up With Shannen Doherty, did a season of Dancing With the Stars, and now has her new show. Jennie Garth also did DWtS and has her own show coming out. Ian Ziering danced with the stars, and Gabrielle Carteris was on a season of The Surreal Life. Luke Perry, there but for the grace of God, etc. That's ten. Baywatch is a contender, too: Jeremy Jackson was on Celebrity Rehab, Pamela Anderson had Pam: Girl on the...

So why was Shannen Doherty's new reality show chronicling her wedding to Kurt Iswarienko called "Shannen Says" (Tue., 10 p.m. Et on We)? Was it because "Shannen Doherty: I'm Right And You're Stupid" was too long? That seems to sum up the actresses approach to her life. She's every bit the bad girl fans have been loving to hate to love for the past twenty-odd years.
Former "Beverly Hills, 90210" co-star Jennie Garth wished Doherty luck via Twitter. Garth is poised to enter the reality television arena later this month with "Jennie Garth: A Little Bit Country" on Cmt, making her the third "90210" alum to seek out reality television after Doherty and Tori Spelling.
She spent much of the premiere doing nothing to dispel the notion that she's a bit of a diva and control freak. From dominating the wedding planning -- though that's been seen plenty on "Bridezillas" --...

In her 2010 book Badass: A Hard-Earned Guide to Living Life with Style and (the Right) Attitude, Shannen Doherty said she had no regrets about her rocky past "because it's made me who I am today." But thinking about it more closely, she wishes she could do things differently after all. "My parents raised me better than [the person I portrayed in the media], and I regret ever hurting my parents," the former Beverly Hills, 90210 actress, 40, said on an episode of The Talk that aired Tuesday. "What's funny is the older you get, the more honest [with yourself] I think you actually become." Also on her list of regrets is lost job prospects.

Shannen Doherty wants to have babies. Yes, the former Beverly Hills, 90210 bad girl is finally settling down after marrying photographer Kurt Iswarienko about six months ago… "We want kids," Doherty, 41, told me the other day while promoting Shannen Says, her new reality show premiering tomorrow on We tv. "When that happens? We don't really know. I think right now we're enjoying just the two of us. "My husband said something beautiful to me the other day," she continued. Shannen Doherty's new reality show Shannen Says chronicles one of the most stressful and anxiety-ridden times in a couple's life - the wedding-planning process. But now, nearly six months after marrying photographer Kurt Iswarienko, the actress says newlywed life is all that it's cracked up to be. "Things couldn't be better. Married life is amazing, and I can only say that because of my partner, because of Kurt," Doherty, 40, told People Thursday on a conference call with reporters to promote her new show. "He woke up this morning and went surfing and it's the little things - it's when he comes home,...

Shannen Doherty and photographer Kurt Iswarienko made it down the aisle in a black-tie, Malibu, Calif., wedding last October, but the process leading up to their nuptials wasn't always picture-perfect. Shannen Doherty can relate to what Kim Kardashian is going through, having experienced two short-lived marriages herself. "My one or two other marriages ... weren't so great, and they were quickie," Doherty tells reporters recently at the Television Critics Press Tour. "My heart goes out to her. I know that. And I also applaud anybody who gets out of something if it's not working regardless of the terrible jokes and press that's going to come at them." Doherty famously rushed to the altar with Ashley Hamilton in 1993 and called it quits just five months later. She was also briefly married to...
