Prime Video is on a mission to keep young adult shows alive in the culture, and the next one comes from the creators of one of the most popular teen shows on Netflix, Outer Banks. The Runarounds is created by Josh Pate and Jonas Pate, and tells the story of aspiring rock stars on the verge of adulthood. The series features real-life singers who perform all the songs in the show. Prime Video is slowly but surely cementing its authority in the young adult genre.
The streamer’s incredibly popular adaptation of Jenny Han’s The Summer I Turned Pretty returned for its third and final season earlier this month to stellar viewership. From Season 1 to Season 3, the premiere week-audience has tripled.
Tsitp is no doubt a juggernaut for Prime Video that, unfortunately, has to come to an end. But make no mistake, YA will continue to be alive and well at Amazon. In fact, the series returns in the middle of what feels like a moment for Prime Video’s YA slate, which has been growing slowly but surely over the past few years.
The streamer is currently home to titles including We Were Liars, Motorheads, Maxton Hall and Overcompensating, with more on the horizon including Legally Blonde prequel Elle, series adaptations of Elle Kennedy’s popular Off Campus college romance novels,...

One of the most oddly divisive movies to come from Prime Video recently is getting a sequel. Likened upon release to a Fast and Furious-style thriller with a controversial romance at its center, the movie proved to be a major hit with audiences despite some scathing reviews from critics. Clearly, the critical response will not stop the franchise from trying to step up a gear in a follow-up.
Released on Amazon Prime Video back in February, My Fault: London proved to be a surprise hit on the streaming platform. Now, the romance thriller, which is itself a remake of the hit Spanish-language Culpa mía (My Fault) franchise, will not only get a sequel, but two sequels, wrapping up with a trilogy.

Exclusive: Dani Girdwood and Charlotte Fassler, the directors of My Fault: London, will be back behind the camera for the follow-up movie, Your Fault: London.
The Amazon Prime Video films are the English-language take on the smash-hit Spanish-language Culpables movies, adapted from Mercedes Ron’s Wattpad novels. The streamer has just greenlit Your Fault: London and Our Fault: London, meaning the trilogy will be complete in English as well as Spanish.
Girdwood and Fassler have now signed on for the second movie, Deadline understands. With the duo returning, the gang have gotten back together. Asha Banks and Matthew Broome are already confirmed to reprise their roles as Noah and Nick, characters first made famous on-screen by Nicole Wallace and Gabriel Guevara in the Spanish movies.

Prime Video’s new Spanish-language movie Culpa Nuestra is making waves across the globe – and it’s not just because of its steamy romance and interesting storyline. The final installment of the Culpables trilogy gained a lot of attention when the first part, Culpa Mia, aka My Fault, was released in 2023.
Fans quickly started following the leads Nicole Wallace and Gabriel Guevara, whose chemistry was just off the charts. However, despite working in the first two movies, something happened behind the scenes that completely changed their bonding.
However, looks like their alleged feud also cannot stop Culpa Nuestra from breaking several records even before its release. Let’s dive deeper to know which record has the trailer of the movie recently destroyed.

Just as with the Spanish-language Culpables films, the UK adaptation of Mercedes Ron’s bestselling books will be a trilogy.
Prime Video has confirmed Your Fault: London and Our Fault: London will follow the recently-released My Fault London, which was an English-version of 2023 YA feature Culpa Mia. Given the success of the franchise, the greenlights are no surprise at all.
Banks (Good Girl’s Guide to Murder) and Broome (The Buccaneers) will reprise their roles as Noah and Nick, respectively, for the sequels. Your Fault will adapt Ron’s second book, Culpa Tuya, and Our Fault will adapt the third, Culpa Nuestra.
Management and producer 42 will begin production on the first sequel this month, and the films will release globally in more than 240 countries and territories.

With the first weekend of Coachella 2025 now in the history books, clear winners have emerged among the dozens of acts who performed, including history-making headliners and small-font breakthroughs.
Best Overall Set: Lady Gaga
Lady Gaga’s headlining set on Friday night was an immediate all-timer: the Mother Monster had created an opera house in the middle of the desert teeming with her own inner demons and mind-blowing choreography that utilized not just the main stage but seemingly every inch of the catwalk and B-stage as well. It was a performance for the ages, and erases her fine-but-not-phenomenal previous performance from 2017 altogether.

Supreme internationalization: It’s hard to believe the Oscars is already almost a week old (any talk of how next year’s awards season has already started is banned), but on reflection it was quite the year for international movies and the growing internationalization of cinema. I’ve been completely obsessed with these two steamy step-sibling romances on Prime Video lately, and I need to talk about them! If you haven’t checked out “Culpa Mía” or its English remake “My Fault: London” yet, you’re seriously missing out. Both films are based on Mercedes Ron’s wildly popular Wattpad novels that later got published as the “Culpables Saga” trilogy.
“Culpa Mía” currently sits at a respectable 6.3/10 on IMDb, while “My Fault: London” is slightly higher at 6.7/10. On Rotten Tomatoes, critics weren’t too kind to either film, but audiences gave “My Fault: London” a solid 75% approval rating compared to “Culpa Mía’s” 70%. But numbers don’t tell the whole story!
You can stream both movies exclusively on Amazon Prime Video right now. The Spanish “Culpa Mía” also has a sequel called “Culpa Tuya” already available, with a third film coming later this year. The English...

My Fault: London, which is both an adaptation of a popular Spanish-language Wattpad story and an English-language remake of its 2023 Spanish adaptation, Culpa Mía,was a recent trending movie on Prime Video. Based on the first entry in Mercedes Ron's Culpables Saga, My Fault: London follows most of the same story beats as its Spanish adaptation, but switches the location from Costa del Sol to London, and incorporates some notable changes that make the central romance easier to root for.

The toxic and extremely heated forbidden love between the two step-siblings, Noah and Nick, in Ron Mercedes’ steamy romantic trilogy struck the hearts of romance-driven YA lovers, but the Spanish movie adaptation, Culpa Mia, was less successful, to put it kindly. Culpa Mia failed to draw in viewers and leave them excited for more, and instead gave them a toxic first movie followed by an equally lacking sequel, Culpa Tuya.
Even though Culpa Mia has a 0% score on Rotten Tomatoes, which is arguably an achievement in itself (or so), the forbidden love between Nick and Noah continues, but with a slight twist. Amazon MGM Studios gave Ron Mercedes’ Wattpad story another chance and released an English remake, My Fault: London, on Prime Video, and, luckily, it is far better than the original.

It doesn’t always happen that the wishes of an entire fandom come true, but readers of the Culpa Mía trilogy by Mercedes Ron were just granted one. The forbidden enemies-to-lovers romance novel series, which is one of the biggest Wattpad and TikTok sensations, was adapted into a Spanish movie in 2023, and was only recently followed by the second one, Culpa Tuya. To its English-speaking fans’ delight, an English reboot of the romance movie, My Fault: London, directed by Dani Girdwood, was released on Prime Video on February 13.
Following Noah as she has to move to a new country with her mother in order to live in her stepfather's massive mansion, the movie centers on the forbidden love developing between her and her step-brother, Nick. With Noah’s real father in prison and leaving her with nothing but the trauma from his violent nature and the memories of their shared love for racing,...

In 2023, Prime Video viewers evidently became transfixed by an adaptation of the Spanish-language YA story "Culpa mía" ("My Fault"). The movie followed a romance between Noah (Nicole Wallace) and Nick (Gabriel Guevara) and while it wasn't going to go down as one of the best romance movies of all time, it proved popular. Very popular. "Culpa Mia" debuted on Amazon Prime Video on June 8, 2023, and was an immediate hit, with Prime Video confirming that the movie had garnered the best opening three-day viewership figures for a non-English-language original on the platform.
Naturally, the company greenlit a follow-up. In fact, Amazon green-lit two sequels, set to be based on Mercedes Ron's "Culpa Tuya" and "Culpa Nuestra" stories. "Culpa Tuya" arrived on Prime Video December 27, 2024, and proved to be an even bigger hit than its predecessor, becoming Prime Video's biggest ever international original launch. But the company didn't stop there. After a violent ending, viewers are wondering about Nick’s final fate in My Fault: London and whether he survived.
Amazon Prime Video recently released My Fault: London, an English-language adaptation of Culpa Mía, despite the existence of an already-successful Spanish-language film series.
The decision was driven by the immense popularity of Culpa Tuya, which became Prime Video's biggest international original launch, and the general demand for an English version. Despite it being a remake, new viewers are still curious about that final scene.

Despite it already being adapted as a series of Spanish language movies, Culpa Mía released as My Fault: London, a new English-language movie on Amazon Prime Video.
My Fault: London was released initially as a Wattpad (an online story-writing-and-sharing platform) novel, Culpa Mía. Spanish-lan guage films Culpa Mía and Culpa Tuya were released in 2023 and 2024, respectively, with the third and final movie, Culpa Nuestro, in the works.
In 2025, though, an English-language movie adapting the same story—this time titled My Fault: London—hit Amazon Prime Video. Besides sharing source material, it was completely disconnected from the existing Spanish films.

Amazon international execs have opened up on its lean into romance-driven young adult drama and how it plans to keep surfing the YA wave.
The two Spain-produced adaptations of Mercedes Ron’s ‘Culpables’ novels, Culpa Mía and Culpa Tuya, have been huge hits. The latter is Prime Video’s biggest ever international original. The final instalment drops later this year. English-language movie My Fault: London has just launched. Out of Germany, Maxton Hall has been a massive success and is also in Prime Video’s top-ten international shows for last year. Season 2 launches soon.
These shows skew young and female. That’s a demo Prime Video originals had not hitherto delivered to the streamer.
“YA is not a genre, it’s an audience,” said Tara Erer, Head of North European Originals at Amazon MGM Studios. She added that this audience “don’t care about the language, they care about the content.

Directed by Dani Girdwood and Charlotte Fassler, Prime Video’s romantic thriller film, My Fault: London is the remake of the Spanish drama, Culpa Mía, which is based on the novel series. The idea of the romantic drama germinated as a Wattpad story. With complicated characters populating the tight plot, My Fault: London is expected to grab enough attention over 2025 Valentine’s week.
Asha Banks as Noah
Young, impulsive, and unpredictable—these three words accurately capture Noah’s energy in My Fault: London. Noah’s character is brought to life by the 21-year-old English actress, Asha Alice Banks. After a successful tryst with the English stage since her early childhood, Asha’s foray into films occurred with the German musical film The Magic Flute, directed by Florian Sigl. Banks is also a known face on television among the English audience, with her brief appearances in EastEnders and Call the Midwife.

In this film, as with the original, we are pulled into a messy romantic affair between two teens, who are also step-siblings. The film’s growing popularity lies in the way it pushes the envelope around the thematic concerns of fantasies and desires in young adult audiences. As Nick and Noah come closer, they are also aware of their need to keep it all under wraps. Would they be able to hide what is going on for too long?

“My Fault” transforms a Wattpad narrative by relocating Mercedes Ron’s story to London’s dynamic urban environment. The film explores a provocative romance between step-siblings Noah and Nick, whose relationship develops amid complex familial tensions and personal challenges.
Weaving intimate character studies with dynamic action sequences, the movie creates a nuanced cinematic experience. It balances emotional depth with high-energy moments, appealing to viewers seeking contemporary storytelling.
The film’s narrative technique echoes French New Wave cinematography combined with measured dramatic storytelling, connecting experimental film aesthetics with mainstream sensibilities. Through its exploration of unconventional love and interpersonal struggles, the story reflects current social dynamics.

Prime Video may sound like it is taking full responsibility for the latest movie to land at the top of the global chart, and for many people that is probably the least it could do. My Fault: London has debuted at number one worldwide (currently number two in the U.S.) as it was pretty much guaranteed to do thanks to the success of the heavily panned 2023 Spanish-language movie My Fault (Culpa Mia) and its 2024 sequel Your Fault (Culpa Tuya). Released on February 13, just in time to rope in some young lovebirds with its illicit romantic storyline, and strange comparisons to the Fast & Furious franchise, the English-language remake has failed to improve on the franchise’s reputation with critics thanks to essentially being a straight remake of the original movie.

Asha Banks is quite literally in the driver’s seat, not only with her career but also in the high-stakes romantic drama My Fault: London.
The 21-year-old English actress and singer, who got her start in theater productions at London’s West End, is now showing she’s a force on the screen and in the studio, with her upcoming music EP, Untie My Tongue.
Last year, she starred in Netflix’s hit show A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder, which has already been renewed for a second season. In “My Fault: London,” there simply aren’t enough alterations to author Mercedes Ron’s source material, “Culpa Mía,” to make its trashy gimmick the least bit palatable. The Wattpad fiction’s original Spanish adaptation of the same name, which debuted on Prime Video in 2023, seemingly fits the definition of a “guilty pleasure,” making audiences cringe as non-blood related stepsiblings challenge puritanical social mores with their embarrassingly toxic, borderline incestuous courtship. At least that iteration didn’t contain the parents laughing off any sneaking suspicions their kids are having hot sex with each other under their roof.

Stepping into My Fault: London, I wondered why they would make a remake of a globally popular movie so soon after its success. But the film makes subtle changes that definitely bring a newness to the story, more specifically for what’s coming next. There is one major difference between My Fault: London and Culpa Mia: Nick isn’t estranged from his mother. Here’s your spoiler warning for Culpa Tuya if you haven’t seen that one. In the Spanish films, Nick is estranged from his biological mother but close to his younger sister, who he believes is a half-sister. In My Fault: London, Nick and his mom are close, and she isn’t at all the glamorous mother we see in the Spanish films. She’s a recovering alcoholic, and though Nick doesn’t appreciate what she did, leaving him at the tender age of 12, I...

Prime Video’s latest young adult offering, “My Fault: London,” transplants the popular Spanish “Culpa Mia” franchise to the United Kingdom, delivering a tale of forbidden romance and high-stakes drama. Going into My Fault: London, I had my expectations at the bottom of the Thames, because I absolutely despised the Spanish original, Culpa Mia. Now, don’t get me wrong, I definitely think we need angsty, teen, sexual Wattpad adaptations, but in my opinion, they’ve got to have some meat on their bones to actually be worthwhile. Culpa Mia was one of Prime Video’s most watched films, based on the novel of the same name. The film was the first of a trilogy (which we’ve already got a second part for) and delivers on the promise of a sensual film that is determinedly only bothered about the sexual tension between the two main characters, step-siblings Noah and Nick. This is where I was immediately thrown off because I feel like we’ve somehow lost touch with what a teen movie should look like; sure, there can be tons of sex,...

The Spanish-language adaptations of Mercedes Ron’s Culpables novels have been smash-hits on Prime Video – Culpa Tuya is Prime Video’s most successful international original ever. That meant the pressure was on first-time directing duo Dani Girdwood and Charlotte Fassler as they took on helming the English-language adaptation of the first chapter in the series, Culpa Mía.
Their film relocates the action to England and My Fault: London launches in time for Valentine’s Day, dropping on on February 13. Asha Banks (A Good Girl’s Guide To Murder) and Matthew Broome (The Buccaneers) play Noah and Nick, roles made famous on-screen by Nicole Wallace and Gabriel Guevara in the Spanish movies.
“There was something lovely about the fact that we’re a duo and we were working primarily with these two leads who became a duo in their own right,” Fassler told Deadline. “It was a first feature for all of us.
