Sculpté avec amour

I read the other two reviews on IMDB and I disagree. I was captured into the sidelines within the first 10 minutes! Unbelievably believable that a young and "aspiring" marketing executive would need a lesson in "exaggeration" versus "lying" and have a beautiful "inspiring" artist teach him a thing or two! I am a HUGE Donna B. Fan and once again she did not disappoint with funny and serious scenes. I always enjoyed Jeremy in his respective roles so this combo of talent knocked it out of the park for me. Kate and Roark I have seen in other roles and admire their abilities to bring a story with solid, good moral lessons to the audience. Funny, serious, clean, romantic all in one spot! The scenery was beautiful and who cares if it is not actually dirty NYC. Canada has breathtaking areas and this gives people a glimpse of Canadian beauty. Likely cheaper to film in Canada anyway. Hollywood is not beautiful anymore and neither is NYC. If you are looking for a refreshingly funny movie that keeps you in the real but not real world, this one is for you! ENJOY like I did!!

Another day and another Reel One Entertainment TV movie which is barely passable. There are minor audio issues in several scenes, I only noticed one really bad cut and the only somehow semi-serious technical issue is the fake location. The movie plot takes place in the State of New York except you can easily recognize that it was shot in beautiful manor at Okanagan Lake in Kelowna, BC, Canada. Really strange decision because Kelowna always pretend to be random US West Coast city, and Hamilton is used for East Coast. But this time I would say it was ok.

I watched both leads Donna Benedicto and Jeremy Guilbaut in the several other TV movies because they were regular in Hallmark TV movies and they are fine as supporting cast but as leads, I guess passable. At least they are better than some other new leads in the ROE 2023 season. Supporting cast was better.

The main problem like in some other new ROE TV movies is the lack of identity. There is barely any romance between leads. Actually, the main romance was between supporting cast and that's the big failure of movie when supporting cast is more interesting and relatable. At least movie wasn't ruined by bad comedy, and comedy was overall minimal and blended well. Even obligatory drama in the late part of Act II and Act III is executed properly.

All in all, watch if you have nothing else but don't watch trailer if you plan to watch it as like every other ROE TV movie trailer, it shows everything.
