Marred by the ending

Let's get the ending over and done with first. I didn't believe that after the events at the stately home that Adrian would have been fooled so easily. If these events hadn't been so extreme, then I could believe in his trip but as it is, I'm afraid I can't.

As for the rest, I can believe every word and scenario. I've met hundreds of guys like Mehmet in both my personal and professional life. Amoral, bisexual, unfeeling, using their bodies as a weapon to ensnare and entrance, lying, everything subsumed in the quest for that passport and the essential prior residence status.

Nothing is too low for these boys. Nik Xhelilaj portrays this perfectly, his outward beauty concealing a black and evil heart. Not one person is spared, not even "Mama".

The screenplay was intricate and the dialogue believable. The acting was top notch. A couple of scenes jarred. I'm not sure that Adrian would have taken Mehmet to the Garrick Club, however discreet the staff and other members were meant to be.

Overall though I enjoyed this and would have given eight stars were it not for the ending and those couple of niggling scenarios.

Fantastic love story thriller Really different loved it

Please give this film a try I don't think you'll regret it It's a love story thriller can't say too much but I absolutely loved it It has me thinking about it and going to bed still thinking about the characters.

The actors are wonderful especially that Albanian actor Nik Xheliilaj . He is outstanding how is able to change characters and be so credible as a struggling illegal immigrant.

The story by Jamil Dehlavi is based on a novel but it's so true to life full of coincidences, passion, jealousy love, hatred and family.

I will truly be thinking about the story and characters analyzing motives and their emotions for quite awhile It's a sign of good film you watch it and still thinki about it Don't worrying there is a good conclusion so it doesn't leave you hanging. Hate that.

A lot better than rated here

As of this writing the rate is 4.9 but that is because they dont have any reviews, just ratings. This is a story of a young Albanian illegal in England desparetly trying to get legal status but running into bad luck all the way. Very ironic story, especially when compared to the horrendous immegration situation in the USA today (2018). The film is very well done and engaging and deserves more people watching and reviewing it.
