Loved the length of the episodes and the whole feel the show gives. Gotta have a season 2. Vince has a lot more material to give the world. And we wanna see it!
The dialogue was pretty funny and the acting wasn't bad at all. With more opportunities for the show to expand in characters and potential story lines. If the next season ever happens it will be a lot better and more refined.
Wish it had a soundtrack by Vince to go with it, but it doesn't take anything away from the show.
Very glad Netflix took a gamble with giving Vince his own show and from my opinion, this is solid television. Hope this introduces new fans to his music and shows the potential he has as an artist in multiple mediums.

Watched the first 5 episodes and loved it. I'm sure this will not appeal to everyone as it is rooted deeply in lower class black culture. Which can be harsh gritty and disrespectful. With that being said for folks who've watched Atlanta know how unpredictable and surreal shows can be. This shows carries a similar energy albeit there is not always a happy ending as it is rooted in the lower income black experience. The show is real but still funny and carries the culture as it is forward on the big screen. There's also soo much that you have to read in-between the lines to understand. Great watch and great job Vince.
This is a great start to the Vince Staples Show! We definitely need more than 5 episodes to get to know the Beach and the mind of Vince Staples a bit better.
With just the little amount of time that he's had he's established an interesting world and an interesting story telling method.
It can feel rushed and incomplete, but given the limited time that was allotted it does a good job establishing a base and the base is so good!
The variety of the characters and the settings are great and interesting. It's got good humor and the absurd situations Vince finds himself in are very entertaining. Vince obviously has some things to say and he does so in an interesting fashion.

This show is all I wanted from Vince and more. As soon as I heard that he was making a show I knew it was gonna be heat, but this is much better than I expected. The pacing, writing, humor, characters, theming, and music elevate the show to crazy heights. This not only proves Vince's chops as an actor, but as a writer and creator as well. I literally made an IMDB account just to write this review because I like the show that much. It really does portray an accurate look into the life of a lower-income nihilist rapper. Truly is one of the funniest shows to come out of Netflix in a while, so thank you Vince.
The show is hilarious and believable, given Vince Staples's life story. It's a must-watch; its inspiration echoes Glover's show Atlanta, but this is for L. A.
I wholeheartedly hope this show gets renewed, as Vince is a very grounded entertainer in an age of digital and plastic facades.
The script is superb, and all the actors bring A* performances in each episode. Vince is Vince and each episode is compelling and amusing.
This type of show does outline there is a gap in the market for shows centred on black experiences submerged in humourous satire; if anything else it can aid in bridging cultural gaps and form understanding and appreciation that transcends audience demographics.
Take a bow, Mr. Staples.
