I didn't know that Cornish was still used in the vernacular. It certainly added to the interest of the film.

Enys is a closeted gay man who's also a macho rugby legend. His lover is the captain of an opposing team. How they negotiate love and life is the theme of the film. Things are complicated by the fact that his father has died leaving him with the sole responsibility for the farm and no spare time.

Enys is blissfully unaware that Mum and his grandma are perfectly aware of his proclivities and even of who his secret lover is. After the championship match, it looks like the rest of the team knows too - the final spoken words of the film were powerful and an affirmation. I liked this and recommend it.
