From a Colombian in NyC

As a Colombian this movie is a cliche and misrepresentation of many migrants struggle.

Script is poor written and acting is all over the place.

Shooting in NYC landmark unfortunately is not enough to fill out a poor narrative.

The struggle of hardworking Colombians is hugely miss represented, the fact of the matter is that this type of movie has become so repetitive that makes harder every time to recommend a new Good Colombian movie , like back in the days with la estrategia del caracol or even Paraíso Travel with his flaws have a far better development than un parcero en New York.

Colombian cinema is not el paseo or quick comedy.
