Katt Williams Has an Iq of 163? Debunking the Truth Behind This Wild Claim
Image
Katt Williams, a stand-up comedian known for his bold humor and controversial statements, has made headlines not only for his comedy but also for claims about his intelligence. In a recent appearance on The Joe Rogan Experience podcast (#2111), Williams claimed to have an Iq of 163, putting him at the genius level. But is there any truth to this wild claim, or is it just another part of his enigmatic persona?

The Iq Claim: Fact or Fiction? Katt Williams in School Dance (2014) | Credit: Lionsgate

Williams’s claim of having an Iq of 163 immediately sparked interest and skepticism. To put this in perspective, an Iq score of 160 and above is considered genius, comparable to that of renowned physicists and mathematicians. Along with this claim, Katt Williams has mentioned other impressive feats of intelligence, such as being able to read fluently by the age of three and having read over 3,000 books in his lifetime.

“I want my b**ch back”: Kevin Hart’s Feud With Michael Jordan Isn’t The Only Time He Butted Heads With a Celeb, His Ugly Beef With a Comedian Has Been Ongoing For Years
Image
During his Acting My Tour last month, Kevin Hart touched on his years-long feud with Michael Jordan, which he first addressed back in 2016. However, this isn’t the lone high-profile beef Hart has found himself in the last ten years, as he also exchanged jabs with Katt Williams.

While it kickstarted back in 2014 when the Norbit star took shots at Hart, things de-escalated between them back in 2016, when Williams came forward to apologize for his comments, However, it didn’t take long for the beef to reignite, and recently, Hart has broken his silence on it.

HBO Max New Releases: March 2021
Image
It’s happening. It’s finally happening. What was once a particularly pervasive and aggressive Internet meme is now a reality. HBO Max’s list of new releases for March 2021 is highlighted by none other than the mythical Snyder cut.

The entity now known as Zach Snyder’s Justice League will premiere on March 18. While it was originally planned to be a four-part miniseries, this recut version of 2017’s ill-fated Justice League will in fact be a four-hour movie. But perhaps even four hours won’t be enough for fans who have been waiting years for just such an event.

Greta Thunberg in I Am Greta (2020)
Hulu New Releases: November 2020
Greta Thunberg in I Am Greta (2020)
All streaming services go through a down period after the excitement of Spooky Season, it’s only natural. Thankfully with its list of new releases for November 2020, Hulu is making the best out of a barren pop culture landscape.

For starters, Hulu is premiering one of its major 2020 reboots this month as Animaniacs arrives on Nov. 20. Yakko, Wakko, Dot, and the rest of the Warner gang are set to return for this long-awaited revival of the animated classic. That’s about it as far as original series go but Hulu is also premiering original movies Greta, about climate activist Greta Thunberg on Nov. 13; and Run, a horror film starring Sarah Paulson, on Nov. 20.

Still, despite all the Animaniacs, Gretas, and Sarah Paulsons, the biggest hits this month might just be on the library content side of things. November 1 sees the arrival of some major TV properties. For starters, racy British...

Judd Apatow
Judd Apatow's Next Movie Is the Pete Davidson Version of 8 Mile
Judd Apatow
In the late 2000s, Judd Apatow was churning out what seemed to be a new movie every week, whether it be as a director or mostly a producer. A decade later, and he's slowed his roll quite a bit. He hasn't helmed a movie since 2015's Trainwreck, which served as a centerpiece for Amy Schumer, offering a semi-autobiographical look at the comedian's life. Now, he's locked in his next project, and it's quite similiar. Only this time he'll be putting SNL Not Ready for Prime Time Player Pete Davidson under the microscope.

There is a lot going on with Pete Davidson, who most recently tweeted out a suicide scare that concerned quite a few fans and cohorts in the comedy world. He also recently broke up with pop star Ariana Grande after a much publicized engagement. The new comedy will put a skewed mask on these woes, though Pete won't necessarily be playing himself.

"School Dance" Misses Some Steps
The title of rapper and comedian Nick Cannon’s directorial film debut (which he also wrote and produced) is a bit of a misnomer. Though it does climax with a song and dance competition, School Dance—which sounds like it is focused on typical prom drama—centers more around gang violence amidst a high school lock in. More surprising, however, is that Cannon draws much inspiration for this film from Shakespeare’s Romeo & Juliet (going even so far as to actually quote the play at one particularly odd moment). Once again the iconic play is set in a high school. But this time the Jets are The Ranger$, the popular African American boys who “run the school” with their incredible rapping and dance skills. They attract the attention of young Romeo, or Jason (Bobb’e J. Thompson), who wants to join them to win the attention of his fair Juliet,...

Meet Pete Davidson, the Newest 'Saturday Night Live' Featured Player (Video)
After a shake-up at the "Weekend Update" desk, "Saturday Night Live" continues to tweak its lineup with the addition of a new featured player to the cast.

Pete Davidson will join "SNL" when its 40th season premieres later this month. Here's a quick bio of the 20-year-old stand-up comic, via Deadline:

A native of Staten Island, NY, Davidson started his career in comedy at 16, using it as a therapeutic outlet after losing his father, a New York City firefighter, on 9/11. Making his rounds in the New York comedy scene, he was spotted by Nick Cannon who took him under his wing. Davidson was a semi-regular on the revival of Nick Cannon Presents: Wild 'N Out improv comedy series on MTV2 last year, leading to a gig on the MTV2 comedy/reality show Guy Code. Davidson, who dropped out of college, made his film-acting debut in Cannon's direct-to-video School Dance.

Nick Cannon's #5WorthWatching: Here Are His 5 Favorite High School Movies
Nick Cannon is a man of many hats; he's an actor, singer, producer, host, DJ, and now he can add director to that list.

His feature-length directorial debut, "School Dance," which comes out today (July 2) in theaters and on VOD, is the classic tale of a teenage boy who likes a girl who doesn't know he exists -- and the only way to get her attention is to find a way into his high school's hottest dance crew.

We figured, after just having made a high school movie, Cannon would be the perfect person to share his five favorite high school movies.

Without further ado, Nick Cannon's #5WorthWatching: High School Movies.

Watch Trailer For Nick Cannon-Directed High School Comedy 'School Dance'
Who knew that Mr. Mariah Carey - aka Nick Cannon - had directed another feature film? It's a high school comedy titled "School Dance," which judging from the trailer, is exactly the sort of film you would expect Cannon to direct. I mean, seriously, think about it. If Cannon was directing "Selma" then that would be an unexpected surprise, and we would be forced to look at him in a different light altogether (“Wow! Cannon is directing 'Selma'? I didn’t know the brother was so deep”). But "School Dance"? Yeah that sounds about right. The cast is also what you would expect: Mike Epps, Katt Williams, Luenell, Amber Rose, George Lopez, with Bobb’e J. Thompson in the lead,...

Kevin Hart
Kevin Hart and Jamie Foxx to Play Movie Hit Men
Kevin Hart
Kevin Hart is setting the record right now for most projects per square inch. There is [takes a deep breath]: his Romany Malco–starring ABC pilot; Think Like a Man Too; Ride Along 2; Ballers with Lebron James; Get Hard with Will Ferrell; The Wedding Ringer with Josh Gad; Nick Cannon's School Dance; a buddy-cop movie with Seth Rogen; Real Husbands of Hollywood; and an eventual new stand-up special. Now Variety reports he has signed on to co-star with Jamie Foxx in Black Phantom. Directed by Hart's frequent collaborator Tim Story, the movie tells the story of a double-crossed hit man who teams up with the Black Phantom, the hit man who was originally sent to kill him. Wonder how they'll work short jokes into it — "They should call you a hard-to-hit man, because you're such a small target."...

Fox Grooms 20-Year-Old Comedian Pete Davidson As Primetime Breakout With ‘Sober Companion’ Role: Video

Kevin Hart: Let Me Explain (2013)
Huge Opening For Kevin Hart Film Shocks Hollywood
Kevin Hart: Let Me Explain (2013)
"Despicable Me 2" and "The Lone Ranger" have received the lion's share of press over the last week, but it's "Kevin Hart: Let Me Explain" that has become a surprise box office hit. According to numbers released by Deadline.com, Hart's stand-up comedy film has already earned $7.4 million in ticket sales during its first two days of release. Per Variety, "Let Me Explain" could have $29 million in its coffers by Sunday night.

Should Hart's film -- which was filmed at a sold-out Madison Square Garden appearance last year -- reach that lofty tally during opening weekend, it would already become the fourth highest stand-up comedy film of all time, behind only "Richard Pryor: Live on the Sunset Strip" ($36 million), "The Original Kings of Comedy" ($38 million) and "Eddie Murphy Raw" ($50 million).

That "Kevin Hart: Let Me Explain" is a big success shouldn't be too much of a surprise. Hart's last stand-up comedy film,...

Will Ferrell And Kevin Hart To Get Hard For Warner Bros.
Well, actually, it’s not what it sounds like. Rather, it sounds like Will Ferrell and Kevin Hart are going to take an idea from Spike Lee’s 25th Hour and turn it into a comedy.

Two funnymen have both signed on to star in the upcoming comedy Get Hard for Warner Bros and that’s the truth.

More precisely, the studio is currently in talks to acquire the new comedy Get Hard, which comes with stars Ferrell and Hart already attached. The script for a starring vehicle for the aforementioned comedians will be written by Ian Roberts and Jay Martel, best known for being the showrunners on Comedy Central’s Key & Peele.

Ferrell will reportedly play a rich, soft-handed investment bank manager sentenced to a maximum security prison for a crime he didn’t commit, who hires the streetwise guy (Hart) who normally washes his car to get him...

'House Party' Remake Details, Plus Our Favorite Scenes from the Original
Last we heard of a House Party remake, it was February of this year and Nick Cannon was the one interested in returning to the franchise. Unfortunately (or fortunately, depending on how you look at it) Cannon instead decided to veer off in a different direction, opting to cowrite and direct School Dance, due out next year. But that doesn't mean we won't be getting another House Party movie, as Moviehole tells us production will begin next month in South Africa on House Party: Tonight's the Night, which will be one of the final movies produced under WB's now-shuttered Warner Premiere label. The (direct-to-video?) reboot will once again focus on a music-loving duo who have their differences (one is wild, the other a bit more restrained) and, yes, they eventually...

Rose certainly stands out in the high school setting wearing an Adidas jacket, white miniskirt and neon bikini top -- undoubtedly turning more than a few heads in the hallways.
