The original actor cast as the voice of Uncle Sam, Ted Althof, passed away during filming and was replaced by David Hundertmark.
Kultur Shock! was originally set in a crowded freight elevator that gets stuck and was called Fright Elevator.

The USA blimp was notoriously uncooperative, led to many delays on set and earned comparisons to the mechanical shark from Jaws during filming.
Virtually all of filming was done in Eric Chapman's sister Cindy's attached garage in Brentwood, PA over 28 days in August/September 2010 and April 2011 where she lived with her two children, Patrick, age 6, and Vanessa, age 5.
