The low reviews here are correct. This was painful to watch. The acting is not good, but the storyline was ridiculous.

I always go into a movie with the understanding that you have to give some wiggle room to the writers. In order to move a story, sometimes things have to happen that aren't realistic. That's only excusable if the rest of the movie makes sense! This movie did not make any sense.

I don't know what it takes to make a serial killer, but I'm sure that the reasons given here are not adequate. And it made for some scenes that were just dumb.

I regret watching this movie. It was terrible.

This is easily the worst movie I have seen this year. The acting is terrible, and the script is next to stupid. Even the above average production quality couldn't help this movie. Seems like the director wants to make the audience dumb. The only motivation behind completing this movie was the fact that I am a fan of mysteries and I just wanted to finish it off. I am wondering how this made it into Netflix. Even if you have two hours to do nothing, there are better things to do than investing time on this one. For a moment, I thought this is a debut movie from the director but turns out he had done a handful of movies in the past. Bottom line, just terrible!

An ultra substandard content which is hard to process. Acting , direction, are WORST.wish I can give -100 😂. A 10 years old could have done a better job. Basically this Bollywood flick tried to showcase how the MET police will work in 10 years time in the UK by taking over all the major government departments by Indians 😂. The most funniest was we have Indian home minister , finance minister and Prime minister.

Plot was interesting had multi dimensions to steer and manipulate the storyline but all was ruined because no brain was used.

Only good thing was jimmy Shergill has done a decent act.

Good way they have presented the movie in an entertaining and interesting way. Same time, this a murder mystery story. Why is it called Operation Mayfair I do not know, maybe the operation of finding the criminal. Nice acting by the cast particularrly Jmmy Shergill and Ankur Bhatia. I had a nicce time watching the movie. Few stars I would remove because I couldn't connect much to their charcters, but the stooy was intense. I had a decent expereince watching the movie. I rate Operation Mayfair 8 stars on 10. One time watch movie. Nothing special except the murder scene of the indivial.. I felt little awkward and different. You can watch this movie for timepass. Not a boring movie. Songs and music are also fine.

What a thriller from Kevin aka ankur sir, really feel Goosebumps all over the movie, there are great twists and thriller elements which puts this towards the top 5 movies I've seen so far this year. An all star cast and the mastermind that he is make this an instant classic that I can't wait to go see again in theatres and to own on physical media when it comes out. While I thought this was a fun movie, I can see where some people would walk out. My girlfriend and the couple sitting next to us did not seem too amused and said it "was not too realistic"..The sound design and cinematography in this movie will 100% be nominated for a few awards, it blew my mind!

If ever there was a movie that accurately defines the term 'bad acting' then this is it. The entire cast, be it the Indian or non-Indian actors perform like first timers, like they were picked off the streets, paid some cash and handed a script. The performances are lethargic, deadpan, forced, totally unconvincing and just lacking realism of every form. The only reason I sat through the entire film was purely out of curiosity to see how they ended up catching the killer. A story line that ought to have you on the edge of your seat ends up having you yawning within the first 30 minutes if you don't fall asleep before that.

Just twenty minutes into the movie and oh man disaster , what have you done Director! Vedika Dutt 0.1/10 acting for the role. No idea y Jimmy Shergill will be called back and no one listens to him lol! It's again vedika in every scene trying to kill us with that acting. This film is a utter classic example of the fact that no matter how much budget you allocate for a overseas shoot, your film is gonna be screwed if you hire a bad director. This will go down as one of the worst movies ever directed in this decade. I am sure the director himself did not watch the movie during screening??? Do not dare to watch this movie,,, such a dumb direction and waste of money.

I was entertained till end, good watch! I loved Kevin's role, his two personalities were interesting and the ending of how the killer maybe back in a few years was a good twist. Both the actors Kevin (Ankur Bhatia) & Amar (Jimmy Shergill) did phenomenal. The songs didn't go with the film and were non needed. Loved the shots of London. It could have been a more interesting plot if the killer wasn't revealed right away and a little less of the stepmother flashbacks but more focus on the killer being a husband, father, and his struggles. Otherwise great movie! Hoping there's a part 2, with a twist , I would surely watch it again.

I don't know where to start the story has been let down with some really bad acting really bad casting and absolutely hopeless directing ! The news reporter looks like she was hired off the street with 0 acting skills .. best part is when chase scenes go from Canning Town through to Covent Garden honestly it's painful to watch how they ruined what could have been a great story. Attention to detail was completely missed. How did Netflix ever allow this thing on its stream are times that desperate? I hate to think what it cost to make this complete flop. Bollywood cinema has come so far but this sends Bollywood backwards.

Finally created an account thanks to this movie and couldn't give more than 1 star, I actually tried if there was half a star ngl. One good thing is that you'll never use the word m*r*n ever again (if at all you did).

Where do I start about the direction or casting or anything really. Dialogues are cringe, senior officials using phone while driving, the evil guy entering clubs banging in the afternoon. Ordering pizza when they go to an Indian restaurant/pub, cutting the phone saying pizza was being served but wasn't anywhere to be seen. You'll have to see to believe but might as well not believe if that's the case I'll be honest.

Wondering how many real world cases would've been solved with this budget. Just a thought.

Writing my first review ever as I was very disappointed with the movie. Waste of time. Didn't expect such a movie in this era. If you are watching this review before watching the movie then please don't waste your time. The movie was in top 10 of Netflix and hence started watching it as I like such genres. I feel like writing this review is good way to utilise your time than watching the movie. None of the female actress was near to good. I suggest IMDb to have negative ratings for such movies. It feels Jimmy Shergill accepted to act in this movie due to location of the movie. He must had a nice vacation in UK.

Direction is third-class, acting is the worst i have ever seen. Don't know who is the casting director and what he saw in the cast. Pathetic dialogues. I dragged myself in anticipation of the things will be better.. but 40mins is the max i can before shutting the trash.

"Boy.. you are a moron" used so many times.. that my head and ear started hurting.

This is way below the B-grade movies, at least B-grade movies have a fun factor and have something to laugh about.

I don't think any movie, acting, direction, dialogues can be as trash as this one is.. Feel like puking on the face of director and the casting director especially.

One of the major flaws of "Operation Mayfair" lies in its casting choices. The actors, though talented in their own right, seem completely miscast in their respective roles. It is a cringe-inducing film that showcases some of the most painfully awkward and unnatural acting ever witnessed on the silver screen. The dialogue, already suffering from its own set of problems, is made even worse by the actors' unnatural delivery. Every line feels forced and contrived, as if the performers are reciting lines in a high school theater production. The lack of spontaneity and authenticity drains any semblance of life from the scenee.

Worst movie ever.

This is the worst movie I have seen in ages. Not sure how this got on Netflix. The movie, the plot, the acting was so bad that this is my first ever movie review. Believe me, I made an account just to warn others. This movie deserves a negative 10 and belongs in a bin.

The actors were so bad that I almost thought of starting an acting career myself. I am not sure how or where the Director was when all of this happened. The sets and plots- don't even get me started. I have no words to describe who wrote this. I would have done a better job myself. Most of all- T-series, if you are reading this you ain't getting my trust anytime soon.

If you are watching for Shergill, even he won't be able to save this movie for you. What a worse movie has ever been made. Why they have to show foreign nationals whole team made out of brown people, that's not how it works.

Just trying to watch for 20 mins I wasn't able to do it. Bad acting by rest of the actors and mediocre dialogue by the writers, nothing exciting happens.

Just had one dialogue which repeats 25 times in first 20 minutes, YOU ARE A MORON, yes the people who made this are a Moron.

If you are high as kite may be then you can survive half the movie called Mayfair. Jeez signing off.

I watched this film untill the end then reading some of the last reviews I was discussed with the comments some people made, this film had a very strange interesting plot that kept me watching until the end and does not deserve a one star review. In my opinion it's 100 times better than half half the rubbish that Netflix put out these days.

If one can see how hard it is to make a movie and costs involved to make a top quality movie one would see effort the production team put into this film to make it happen. People that put such low negertive reviews certainly don't work in entertainment industry and know nothing about making movies.

I for one see the hard work and effort that goes into making a movie like this, it's definitely not easy. I watch it all and give it a 10 out 10 for determination.

For those who diss these movies need to try do it themselves before making harsh comments.

There is a hole crew behind the scenes that work long and hard sometimes for little money. It's the enjoyment of making a movie how ever it comes out one should appreciate here.!!!!

Oh god! Didn't they watch the movie before releasing and realize it is horrendous? The acting, dialogue delivery, pronunciations, scene changes, plot points are ridiculous. Special mention to Vedeika Dutt as DCI Lisa Varma for being the worst actor ever seen in a movie. You will cringe every time she opens her mouth and speaks. She looks good, but should definitely work on her acting before stepping in front of the camera again.

Did they pick people on the road, and ask them if they wanted to be a part of a movie? If you are a spending money shooting in London, at the very least spend some on getting better actors, and writing a better story!

The characters lacked depth and development, making it impossible to care about their fates. The pacing was abysmal, dragging on endlessly without any meaningful progression. Even the soundtrack failed to salvage this mess, adding to the overall disappointment. Save yourself the agony and steer clear of Operation Mayfair at all costs!

It was a boring movie-poor direction and screenplay. The acting was awful, and besides, the annoying drama between characters is unnecessary. It has failed to show the motivation and zeal for the roles of the main characters, and hated to see the characters being so naive. It could have made more sense to show the efforts of the investigation. Towards the end, the plot was predictable. I didn't find even a single gripping moment.

Overall, the movie didn't make any sense to me. I am utterly disappointed to have chosen this movie. I had to finish the film to get the conclusion, which wasted time. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.
