If you are a South Park fan, there is no way you won't love this game.
Even though it was constantly delayed and was released way too late, it was worth the wait. For starters, the game is hilarious. It uses the same humor as the TV show, and had me laughing throughout the entire story.
The storyline was well thought out and very fun to play. The graphics are the exact same as the TV show, so it feels like you are actually in a TV episode.
I absolutely love this game, and would recommend it to all South Park fans.

I never heard of or watched South Park in my entire life because it was never shown on my TV channels as a kid until I discovered this game.
South Park Stick Of Truth is the most derogatory but still a great game to play. South Park may be South Park by its nature and I am not much of a fan of South Park but there are pros and cons that I can say about this game.
The character creation is very simple and very good for making my South Park protagonist. The combat is absolutely amazing it is both turn-based and interacting moves to know how effective it is, The comedy is really good even though there are offensive parts and the animation in the game plays absolutely just like South Park like I am playing a video game while watching TV.
While there are some very offensive parts like Cartman's faction name which good thing I am from the Philippines. Ally summon assists felt very useless because they won't let me use them in boss battles and collection spots like Chinpokomon will always be permanently locked when going to different locations. And a very rude forced name

First off, I am highly surprised you can look up video games on this website since I have just now discovered this since I am still fairly new to IMDb (as an actual user).
Now for the actual review.
Well, what can I say? 'South Park' is and has always been one of my absolute favorite things on this planet. I have enjoyed some of the games in my life (most being flash games), and the N64 game was lots of fun to me, but this one probably tops it all.
The very best parts about this title are the following: references to the show, solid graphics while not lagging at all, funny and witty jokes everywhere, etc. Simply put: South Park. In case you have seen the entire show (or lots of it for this matter), you will get all the references, places, etc. If you have /not/ seen too much of it, you will still consider most of it funny because, well, it is 'South Park' after all!
Story-wise, this game is pretty good as well since it makes sense for the most part and the side-missions (which I did along with playing through the storyline at the very same time, btw.) are pretty fun, too. Though, I have to complain about a few things. This game is /far/ too short: It took me approximately 14 hours to get done with the story and all of its side-missions, which is not even roughly enough. Plus, once you have played through the game, there is nothing left you can do. That is the only reason I 'only' gave it 9/10 stars because the rest is, as stated above, very pleasant.
All in all, I can only recommend playing through the entire game, for it is highly enjoyable!

Just finished this game and it is amazing. I personally think it is better than the other one but they are both still great. I will admit there are some hard parts but you will pass them.
I'm not sure if I'm the only one that feels like South Park has been stretched way past its limit or maybe I'm just getting old, but I haven't seen a truly funny episode in a very long time. Along comes SOT and makes up for all that. It's hilarious, ballsy and shameless. Perhaps the greatest achievement is that it hardly ever feels like a video game and certainly doesn't look like one. The turn-based battles are a nice throwback to older rpg games while simultaneously feeling fresh and funny (especially when "Princess" Kenny is involved). If you're a South Park fan and have been watching since the start, you absolutely should not miss this experience. My only complaint is the short length. 8 hours is pretty much the extent of it, but besides that, big love to Trey and Matt for giving us the South Park game we deserve. It's about time.

- TriviaTrey Parker cited Mother 2: Gîgu no gyakushuu (1994), Paper Mario (2000), and The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim (2011) as his main inspirations behind the game's RPG mechanics. The decision to have a silent protagonist was drawn from "The Legend of Zelda" series.
- GoofsWhen you enter the Medical Records Room, your character uses the phone to take a photo, but pressed the home button instead of the camera logo.
- Quotes
Jimmy Valmer: [singing "The Maiden from Stonebury Hollow"] There once was a maiden from Stonebury Hollow / She didn't talk much, but boy, did she swallow / I had a nice lance that she sat upon / The maiden from Stonebury who is also your mom.
- Crazy creditsIn the bomb disarming mini-game, if you lose you see the entire town explode and a fake set of credits identical to the show's appear before re-spawning you.
- Alternate versionsScenes involving anal probing and abortions were censored in the Australian and EMFA versions of the game. Matt Stone and Trey Parker got around this by inserting an image of a crying koala and Michelangelo's David doing a facepalm, respectively, and a text inter-title "apologizing" for the censorship and describing what was happening in the scene while leaving the audio intact.
