Initially intriguing but ultimately not, directed by Russ De Jong (with numerous other credits) who couldn't direct his way out of a wet paper lunch sack. The actors were fine but the plot was muddled, the history of the primary villains was unexplained so you don't know how they came to be involved (not spoiling it) and the pacing was too slow. Also, the next time you purport to use guns please make them sound something other than a child's popgun. And the lack of convincing violence was so obvious - hey, if you can't afford to make it look real then why bother in the first place? And what was the absolute infatuation with that Jenga-like light fixture in the foyer??? It stole most of the scenes. And the critical situations that the characters faced were completely ridiculous - just not believable that they would be so stupid.
For a change I am not going to reveal spoilers. I'm challenging you - watch this movie until the end and then judge my review, although you will surely regret the waste of your time. I wasted mine so you don't have to.
